Well he should start then else he may be off

Che Adams on 17:23 - Aug 20 with 2043 views | PatfromPoole | We looked a totally different side the moment he came on. Before that, we just couldn’t get up the pitch or hold on to the ball. He possesses a lot of the attributes you look for in a striker in this League. We simply have to keep him. Mara is very promising, but needs time.

This is spot-on. Brilliant from him today. But he tends to score a few great goals at the start of the season then....that's it.

Agreed. Same as last week we looked much better when Che came on. He should have started in place of Adam Armstrong. We'd have to pay a lot of money to get a striker better than Che, so keep him & play him. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Che Adams on 17:37 - Aug 20 with 1973 views | Butty101 | Sell him , he’s used 2 of his 6 goals for the season! It was back home for him, so that’s why he was motivated.

He's so strong and with more lenient refereeing we need that aspect in the side. Also I think it bodes well for our defenders as they're more agricultural than finesse.

100% he’s a proper striker unlike Armstrong who’s a runabout worker

Adam Armstrong is a strange one. I can’t see how him and Mara would work, in this formation he needs to play up front off another striker, but Ralph likes him to be on the left. For Blackburn he was central and got a lot of chances and finished them well. He hardly ever seems to get a chance to score for us.

He got knocked off the ball a few times today. He tries really hard, but he seems to find it tough physically. I do think he could be a half-decent option as a left-winger, given his pace.

Che Adams on 21:33 - Aug 20 with 1570 views | Berber | Let’s not get carried away with just one of his half dozen good games in a season. The only reason there is speculation about him leaving is because he has seriously underperformed here compared to the season before he joined us.

Che Adams on 11:13 - Aug 21 with 1400 views | Poirot | Well hes £30M+ player and i dont see everton affording that unless they sell. I do wonder if there is an issue regarding signing a new contract as it would be on the table over recent months.

I think the issue may be similar to that with Forster. He's not happy that the manager has shown a preference for an inferior player, in his case, Adam Armsstrong. Hopefully, that will stop now.

As in Ramos from Benfica? That seems to have ominously gone a bit quiet

I remember when Armstrong first arrived, it was exciting to hear that he was the fastest recorded player in the Premier League that week. BUT, the problem is that although he has shown that in theory he should be able to beat other players in a sprint race, in match conditions, he is slow of thought and slow off the mark. He doesn't anticipate what's going to happen by setting off on a darting run before the ball arrives, like a top striker should, but waits for the ball to arrive before moving, which negates any speed advantage he might otherwise have. His performance against Man U was very good, maybe from now on the real Che Adams stands up.

Che Adams on 22:47 - Aug 30 with 768 views | PatfromPoole | Che Adams played like prime Harry Kane tonight. Superb. Chelsea couldn’t handle him. Hassenhutl has lucked out over the last two weeks with Adams’ form. Has possibly kept him in a job.
