Boro have Ipswich and Wrexham to play. We have a game in hand on Boro and Millwall. Ipswich look like the favoirites but they have Norwich away in a local derby and they have us away. Saints need to win, win, win regardless but when the pressure is on, you get some.strange results. We are chasing. You never know. Yes, Boro play Monday but we will have 2 games in hand on them. Ipswich yes will storm ahead of us if they win Monday and we will be on the same number of games, but they have Norwich away and we have Ipswich to play at home. I think it's unlikely but I think it could get interesting if results go.our way. | |

Personally, I like to look at one game at a time.
Today is (for me) our cup final. We’re playing one of the (if not the best) teams in Europe, as it is presently.
I’ve gone for a Saints win today. That’s my blind faith of being positive as a fan.
Regardless of the result as long as we give it a go, then I’ll be happy.
The upcoming games can we talk about tomorrow or Monday.

All we can do is win our games. If we don't then we reduce our chances of success no matter what others do. The next (league) game is our most important game. We cannot worry about the game after that or what the other teams do unless we win that one.
Yes, I would like to win tonight. Getting to beat Arsenal would be a wonderful achievement. Getting to a final would be unimaginable.
I think we have a manager who just wants to win, he does not pick and choose which game to prioritise. He focuses on the game we are about to play (I hope I am not about to be proved wrong).
If we don't get to the play offs or go up it won't be down to what happens in these next games it will be down to the failed experiment and wasted time at the beginning of the season. If we had got that right, I think we would have been in the top 2. | | | |

We would have been top if Eckert had been in charge from the start of the season.
We probably don't have enough time left to catch Ipswich, but if we finish 3rd, we should get Hull in the play-off semi finals, and that should be our aim.
It's a shame we won't win the Championship this year, but if we can keep Eckert long enough, the trophies will come. [Post edited 7 Apr 23:33]

Tonda is only 33, keeping this team together and staying at Saints, even if we don't go up, has got to be the best move for him. He's Spor's man and he has a lot of control from what I can see. Moving to a PL club too early might not end well.
