The bookies odds look a bit weird today. We're now 4th favs and Boro are 3rd favs with odds close to 50% (not far off evens, according to oddschecker). That seems mad to me. I think we have a better chance than Boro and the other play off contenders.
Boro haven't won in 6 games, losing 3 of them. By all accounts they were poor yesterday and the manager blamed it on the number of games they've played. I guess that shows they don't have the depth of squad that we have.
Yes, we lost 4-0 to them in January in our period of poor form under Tonda. But since then we've added Peretz, Bree, Larin and Edozie to the squad and Stewart is now fit. Because we've added that height we no longer have to play 3 at the back and everyone is playing in their proper position. We're a totally different team and we now have the depth of squad to rest players which is vital.
I'd say we're the best team in the play off places and have the best chance of promotion. But it's still a bit of a lottery and tiredness and injury could work against us. Overall I'd say our chances are a touch better than 2 to 1 against so I'd take the 9/4 odds that seem to be widely offered.
If we make it to the play off final, our experience 2 yrs ago and recent FA cup Wembley experience will help and I'd back us to beat any of the others provided we haven't got too many walking wounded. |  | | |  |

The biggest thing is the confidence in the team at the moment. THB was interviewed after and he mentioned that, but also threw loads of praise at the manager (well he wouldn't run him down I suppose), so the expectation at each game is to win
That confidence (without any arrogance) is also running through the crowd and heads were definitely not down at half time. I'm not sure what the general feelo=ing elsewhere on here but we were saying at HT that we still felt we could go and in the game
As an aside, looks like Wrexhams bubble may just have burst with a 2-0 loss at Brum so that definitely leaves a decent gap (4 points) between the current play off incumbants and the rest |  |

I reckon we could end up playing Millwall at Wembley. A lovely, family day out 😂. If we finish 3rd or 4th, I think Millwall will get 3rd or 4th too, which means we woukd.probably get Hull or Boro in the play offs. | |
