He was good at Brentford but just didn’t appreciate that, when you rediscover the wheel - ie stats-based analysis - especially in a big money sport where the smallest advantage can make a disproportionate difference, others are very soon on your case. What examples do you have that we have significantly propped up either of the clubs, we have loaned plyers to them and sold players to them, we bought Kayi Sanda from Valiences but not for a significant fee. | |

5 million for Kayi Sanda seemed pretty excessive to me and a huge fee for an inexperienced kid with less than 40 senior apperances in the French 3rd division
He may turn out to be a very good prospect but we'll have to see | |

The £5 million transfer fee get touted, but there is not a lot of evidence other than a number of random football sites all quoting each other.
They are quoting in Euros though so that would be nearer 4 million pounds, but as I say the clubs havent revealed the figure so it is just hearsay | |

We sold Juan for around what we paid for him, we probably have a sell on fee, when he went there no one was complaining that we were selling a great player.
As I said in an earlier post, the two clubs have not revealed the fee, its been estimated by one on line site and repeated by others till it becomes the truth .
I don't think we can complain about Sport Republic's transfer business in the last 4 transfer windows so why bother complaining about a player who we broke even on and one that we might yet do so. | |
