St Mary's Heading For Sell Out
St Mary's Heading For Sell Out

Get down to the stadium fast if you want to go on Tuesday night.

After Saturday's sales, only around 1,500 tickets remain for the visit of West Ham United on Tuesday night, with Saints top of the league and West Ham only two points behind in second place its a vital game for Saints as well as the Hammers with neither side wanting to draw and perhaps see Middlesbrough leapfrog the pair of them, although in fairness, Boro would have to have an almighty win at Nottingham Forest for them to jump above Saints.

Hopefully the last tickets will now go fast, I would certainly hope so, Saints have had a great start to the season and the way this team has played, it deserves to play in front of full houses, to be perfectly blunt if you call yourself a Saints fan and cant be bothered to go and watch a game of this magnitude, then there is something wrong.

Looking forward to tomorrows game, full house and should be exciting !

Off topic, any thoughts as to why coventry have only offered a pathetic 1000 tickets for our match on nov 5 ? They only had 15K vs forest on saturday and thats a local derby ! So, why have they only offered us an initial 1K, surely a minimum of 3k would be realistic especially as our away support has been amazing in recent years. Im sure more tickets will be made available but why such an insulting first batch ???? Any comments appreciated.

I think most clubs now send down a smaller first batch, Coventry are in financial trouble so probably dont want to send money on printing tickets unless they have to, I think we can have up to 6,000 in total if we want them

I rang the club and they said there will be a cash only turnstile on the day, extra £2.00 per ticket, but hopefully more upfront tickets will follow. Thanks for replying.

1,000 for Coventry is pathetic. Gutted I can't be there tomorrow night. One thing I will say as well is there may have been 33,000 at Derby on Saturday, but the majority of the hone fans within the ground were quiet for most of the game. I expect St Mary's to have a much better atmosphere.

Been to Pride Park 8 times now and every time the programme is full of praise for their passionate fans and every time I find the atmosphere very poor. Idiakez in the programme called their fans the best in the world.....(after the Skates I assume he meant)
