F*cking hell they are unbearable at the moment. The whole program is just based on attacking the government for whatever they can, even when it's not relevant.
Today once again Piers Morgan is shouting at people because VAT is charged on PPE and what a disgrace it is, even though it's completely irrelevant because the NHS are VAT registered so will claim back.
Highlights that Piers knows feck all about BUSINESS.
He's just been on the attack because the minister doesn't know how many social care workers, including carers in private care homes have died... 30,000 homes across the country as well. How is it feasible unless care homes report the deaths themselves?
19 nurses/Doctors have died from Covid-19, considering more than 1 in 40 people in the UK work for the NHS, 19 deaths from NHS workers actually shows that there is no increased risk of dying whilst working at hospital which suggests that PPE is largely getting to where it needs to be.
How many of those 19 nurses/doctors caught Covid in hospital?
In fact, how many of our current death toll died BECAUSE of Covid 19 as opposed to WITH Covid 19... that's the number I want to see.
Eddie Large apparently died of Coronavirus, yet his wife was on TV saying he had been in hospital with heart failure for a few weeks and was never expected to survive/leave hospital. Should his cause of death be Coronavirus of Heart Failure?
No, again, I was criticising him for politicising the situation but mainly for cutting off funds to the one international organisation fighting the virus.
I am criticising Ignatius for constantly politicising the virus in relation to particularly his comments about China and 'the extremist left'.
I am not answering stupid questions about whether China is to blame for the virus because I am not interested in who is to blame for the virus. I will be very happy to read the history of this when it is all over.
If you find it difficult to keep up with any of this I can't really help you.
(P.S. The 'yet' in your first sentence doesn't make sense. I am criticising Trump for taking action against the WHO in the middle of the thing and it follows from that I think that any review or action against the WHO should wait until it's over. It's pretty much the view of most of the rest of the world on what he's done and there's nothing at all 'confused' about it.)
If you cannot see the double standards and idiocy of your comments I fear for your mental stability sir. It is beyond scary. You are politicizing this as much as anyone. You are blaming certain people as much as anyone. You refuse to discuss China being to blame and the WHO messing up, as you say now is not the time. But it is OK for you to blame others LOL. You are one messed up cookie.
The only bad air around here is you guys farting around.

I appreciate your concern for my mental stability. These are stressful times and mental health is an important issue.
And I am sorry if you are scared. Really, you have nothing to fear from me.
Enjoy the rest of your day. It is lovely and sunny here.

You are mental “Ian”, that isn’t up for debate, and you are also wrong to not blame China now. They have re-opened the Wet Market in Wuhan now. The backward Chinese have restarted where they left off and we now await the next Coronavirus to come out of the country.

You think people dieing is wonderful. You would rather turn a blind eye to the actions of the Chinese and the inaction of the WHO because it’s the anti Trump stance. Both you and “Ian” would rather see people die than point the finger at China and the WHO. You are an utter weirdo.

I have agreed with you on a previous thread about China, but of course you didn't take that in.
Its 'Dying'not Dieing...

F*ck off you stupid c*nt.
Trump is cutting funding to the WHO and people are going to die as a DIRECT consequence of that.

OS thinks cutting funding to the WHO is a good idea. This is a organisation that fought such diseases as MALARIA DIABETES SMALLPOX AIDS POLIO MEASLES TUBERCOLOSIS ETC.... On our behalf.............

Hey Grumps. I suspect that we are now just 'feeding the troll', so I am out of here.
It's lunchtime anyway. Chicken and cashew nuts with egg fried rice for me today.

I am sure the people of Taiwan benefited hugely from that.
Why oh why do you lefties avoid issues? Genuine question? Clearly there is an issue with the WHO as they allow China to bully them in not allowing Taiwan in as a member. But this is dismissed by you and Ian as irrelevant and not important. So, are you saying the people of Taiwan do not deserve WHO benefits and help? Shall we et them all die to save China, who in fact started all this?
You must learn to detach your clear political bias and see things for what and how they really are.
PS. Malaria still kills far more people every year than COVID ever will.

The Chinese are to blame for the virus. They have previous for this as well.
The government have made some mistakes. What administration hasn’t.
The sky is blue.
Im not sure you follow. Had Labour won the 2019 Election, We would have the whole global pandemic under control. There would he lots of free money to everyone who wanted it and the logistical issues seen would have been solved by momentum!
Could you imagine the laughs if Jezza fell ill and Dianne Abbott was running the country!

Do you have any knowledge at all about Taiwan apart from what Donald Trump tells you?
Its political status is extremely unusual. It is recognised as a sovereign state by hardly any countries in the world and it is not a member of the UN. Its difficulties go back decades and at the heart of it, or course, is its relationship with China.
It is one of those places that can very easily become the focus of international power struggles and countries and world bodies tread tend to tread very carefully around it so that the ambiguously balanced status quo can continue.
If the WHO has tiptoed around the Taiwan-China issue in this crisis, they are not the first to do so.
In the grand scheme of things it's a sideshow. Trump is trying to make out that it is massively important as an excuse to bash the WHO (and indirectly the Chinese) but I don't see him or the US giving international recognition to Taiwan do you?
Educate yourself man before you start shouting your mouth off. Trump is making a mug of you.

Well we’ve somehow currently got Priti Patel as Home Secretary and she’s even worse than Abbot

Taiwan’s healthcare system is regularly lauded as among the world’s best, ranking ninth in last year’s Bloomberg Health Care Efficiency Index. Citizens enjoy universal health coverage and medical standards are generally on par with those of global leaders... no thanks to China - who continually block Taiwan's membership of the W.H.O. The likes of the United States, Japan, Germany, and Australia are all continual backers of Taiwan joining the W.H.O. - but China is firmly against it - so that's that.
The sooner the W.H.O is overhauled and stops pandering to China - the better.
