This is is the worry. Absolutely understand all these views that Hojbjerg is worth more etc. It's true, he is worth more. But we will end up with an unhappy Hojbjerg sitting in the reserves and no right back. Why would we want that? But we shall see! [Post edited 6 Aug 2020 14:15]

Seeing how well he’s developed I’ll be pleased with this. As for West Ham, I feel they’ve really lost their soul. Love them or hate them you’ve got to admit Upton Park was a ‘proper ground’ and that over sized soulless bowl in the concrete wastelands of Stratford they’re now in makes even the shithole area where Spurs are based seem inviting.
I can’t imagine playing at the London Stadium is much fun for their players.... |  |

Imagine the day when West Ham get relegated again, rented stadium, no doubt spnuked all the monies from Upton Park sale and all for what?
I really do question why clubs like West Ham felt the extra revenue from empty seats was going to make them CL place contenders.
When we left the Dell we simply had to cos the TV monies was nowhere near the levels they are today. Hindsight is a wonderful thing mind you, but imagine if we were still at the Dell in the current scheme of things. Proper ground minus say 17k additional fans which might just cover Leminas and Big Frasers wages

I do think it's good business at that price but I do miss the days of Clyne one side and Bertrand the other.
It wasn't long ago that Valery was thought of as first choice. KWP had a good end to the season and leapfrogged him. I still hope two things will happen...
Firstly I 'd like KWP to bulk up a little and really nail down that spot.
Secondly I'd hope that Valery uses this as motivation and really pushes to get back in the side. He seemed to have equally as much promise but has gone through a dodgy patch. [Post edited 11 Aug 2020 13:03]
