Is he signing or what?

Read a report that West Ham want him.

Hojberg has burnt his bridges by insisting on a Spurs move. If Levy (*spit) refuses to pay our asking price and cools his interest, Hojberg is going to look a coont going to Everton instead. And what Everton fan (that's you Toffee) wants a player that doesn't really want to be there but settled for second best - just to get out of his current club?

Any club that's dealing with Spurs/Levy - then yes!

I rate Walker Peters and don't rate Hojbjerg as highly.
If it were up to me I would straight swap.
Good job it's not up to me then.

Good news. You've got your wish: almost a straight swap has been agreed between the clubs.

Seems a fair deal.

Doesn't strike me as a good deal, we lose our captain and international for not a lot of money and a RB we could have probably signed for about £3m in January rather than take him on loan.

Heard Fulham interested too
if we fork this up and lose PEH for 15m then that shows nothing will ever change at our club

This is is the worry. Absolutely understand all these views that Hojbjerg is worth more etc. It's true, he is worth more. But we will end up with an unhappy Hojbjerg sitting in the reserves and no right back. Why would we want that? But we shall see!

Please let this be true.
If so, I hope we had the decency to chuck in a tube of lube and paid for the taxi

Good news. After a quite start he grew into the role and by the end of the season looked a perfect fit for us. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him weigh in with a few goals too next season.Nice bit of business.

Is this happening, is it contingent on PEH?

Seeing how well he’s developed I’ll be pleased with this. As for West Ham, I feel they’ve really lost their soul. Love them or hate them you’ve got to admit Upton Park was a ‘proper ground’ and that over sized soulless bowl in the concrete wastelands of Stratford they’re now in makes even the shithole area where Spurs are based seem inviting.

I can’t imagine playing at the London Stadium is much fun for their players....

Imagine the day when West Ham get relegated again, rented stadium, no doubt spnuked all the monies from Upton Park sale and all for what?

I really do question why clubs like West Ham felt the extra revenue from empty seats was going to make them CL place contenders.

When we left the Dell we simply had to cos the TV monies was nowhere near the levels they are today. Hindsight is a wonderful thing mind you, but imagine if we were still at the Dell in the current scheme of things. Proper ground minus say 17k additional fans which might just cover Leminas and Big Frasers wages

Ready and waiting to mop up those European places......

I am not ITK but the reports seem to suggest that it is a done deal virtually and that the 2 deals are separate.

Correct we did not want to get in a levy bargaining deal as he would hold out so the deals are separate.
The deal is done just waiting for the announcement.

I do think it's good business at that price but I do miss the days of Clyne one side and Bertrand the other.
It wasn't long ago that Valery was thought of as first choice. KWP had a good end to the season and leapfrogged him. I still hope two things will happen...
Firstly I 'd like KWP to bulk up a little and really nail down that spot.
Secondly I'd hope that Valery uses this as motivation and really pushes to get back in the side. He seemed to have equally as much promise but has gone through a dodgy patch.
