So.....not long to go until we either get either a new or same old POTUS. Maybe it is the pessimist in me but I have a horrible feeling that the Orange Narcissist (no, I’m not a fan) is going to get another 4 years. What do you all think!

its amazing how much coverage US news gets over here. Yet, very little from the continent (who we apparently love?)

Who cares who wins over there

One reason to care is BoJo the Clown is banking on Trump winning so he can push a no deal brexit thru, Biden won’t support that

Damn , if that's the case then us Brits should be supporting Trump for our own good. I don't like it but eh it really won't effect us that much who gets it but wait..... it will as S22 says we would be better off with Trump who is more likely to give us a deal.

Cheers for clearing that up sweetheart.

So who would be best for our country not based on ideals and stuff as I think Trump is a total cockwomble ( ) just based on money i.e. Deals and stuff to get our citizens back to work.

From what I can gather Trump seems more UK friendly the Bidon but I don't really know.

DO not be surprised when Trump wins again. The "silent" majority will have their say (just like they did in the UK) and the chattering classes and woke muppets will be beside themselves.

FOr the first time since I had the right to vote I will be voting Republican. The BLM, Antifa, AOC mess that now dominates the Democrats would put us on the path to be the basket case that Europe has become with a semi-police STate.

It’s an odd world when some prefer the greater of two evils. America will never be remotely “left”. You have been brainwashed by the big orange fake.

Push comes to shove, Trump would cut us loose if it suited him.

Just shows quite how off the wall he is that if I said that he might side with Putin in a conflict between Russia and the Uk, you would have to think about it for a bit before concluding ‚nah, he wouldn’t do that...would he?...‘

The real trouble with Trump is that he has been so bad on so many levels over the last four years that we are all just used to it by now, so nothing he does seems quite so bad any more. I guess that’s how these types work.

People aren’t voting for Trump.
They are voting against the utter shambles that is The Left.
How else could the worst Tory party in living memory obliterate Labour.
We and the USA are not and will never be a Socialist country...

For starters, the Democratic Party are not “left”.
Many of them are voting for Trump.
Also we have had Labour and Liberal governments over the years.
Apart from that, spot on 😉

If you don’t like the illiberal left, the answer is not to vote for the illiberal right.

Err, obviously.

A vote for Biden is a vote for the liberal centre ground. Which is why so many Republicans are able to vote for him.

John Steinbeck summed it up when he said something like , the reason Socialism never took root in America was that even the the poorest, humblest hobo regarded himself as a millionaire temporarily strapped for cash rather than a victim of class warfare.

They have a dream.

Complete nonsense.

They had a choice at the primaries stage, and they picked Biden, when more left wing candidates were available.

The amount of money required to finance a presidential run, the idea that 'socialist' vested interests' are behind Biden is beyond ridiculous.

I can understand why lots of people would be really determined to vote him out - especially post Covid.

Less clear to me why there would be more people than in 2016 determined that he should have another go.

When was the last time a 77-year-old and a 74-year-old battled it out to be 'the leader of the free world'? They should be living out their final years in retirement homes.
