The New POTUS? 23:52 - Oct 22 with 9209 views | Sadoldgit | So.....not long to go until we either get either a new or same old POTUS. Maybe it is the pessimist in me but I have a horrible feeling that the Orange Narcissist (no, I’m not a fan) is going to get another 4 years. What do you all think!

The New POTUS? on 23:28 - Nov 5 by Bicester_North | Your words: “Best guess is that the simplistic, homogenous world view that Trump promotes can only make sense in the countryside. People in the cities are used to life being more varied and nuanced and are perhaps a bit more savvy in seeing though Trump's BS” I’m not offended whatsoever, “fella” , just pointing out that you sweepingly generalised people’s thoughts and intelligence depending on whether they lived in urban or rural areas. In fact f*clking millions of city dwellers voted for trump, and millions of country bumpkins voted for Biden, so your theory is bollocks. “Great offence” , what, cos I disagreed with you? |
But you don’t have a better one, in fact you can even accept that there is a marked difference between city and small town/rural. You know when the emojis come out that the game’s up. I think I must have touched a nerve with you although wtf that might be, I have no idea.

Funny how BoJo the clown refuses to condemn Trumps statement about stopping votes when he is such a fan of democracy WAC

The New POTUS? on 09:26 - Nov 6 with 998 views | dirk_doone | Trump declares victory: Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump I easily WIN the Presidency of the United States with LEGAL VOTES CAST If he could get away with it, Trump would follow the example of other power-crazed dictators, like Stalin, and declare the USA a one party state. I just don't think he would have the backing from the military to do that though. [Post edited 6 Nov 2020 10:39]

He is probably worried. Biden has him pegged as a Trump Mini-me.

Boris, and other Republicans - they're all petrified that he will somehow survive this and then turn on them like he turns on everyone who crosses him. Let Biden get a lead that would require Trump to overturn the decision in more than one state, then the game will be up and everyone will pile in on him. Interesting to see when opportunist Boris will realise that his bread is buttered on the Biden side and what he will then do.

No, nor sandals either. My shoe of choice is a calf skin loafer, apart from at weekends when I only wear Jimmy Choo or Christian Louboutin. I admire you chuzpah Jay, calling other people weird.

The New POTUS? on 11:29 - Nov 6 with 922 views | Sadoldgit | You have to admire Trump’s brass neck. Apparently voter fraud is commonplace in the states that he has lost and where he is trailing, but doesn’t exist at all in the states he has won. Funny that.

He is as mad as a box of frogs , I'm really intrigued what his next move will be. I'm like you I find it hard to comprehend how the vote is so close but the Yanks are different beasts to us. The democrats are probabally more right wing then the Tories as well and they are regarded as socialists by the republican supporters.

One of his former advisers is calling for Trump critics to be beheaded. Most of his former employees just say he was mad but this one is obviously mad as well.

Someone on Question Time (an American Republican) last night was trying to explain Trump’s “appeal”. It is because he is “authentic” apparently! A less “authentic” person you couldn’t find. The only authentic thing about him is that he is a self serving poor example of a human being. I get that people are tired of career politicians who just spout BS and never answer straight questions with straight answers, but how they figure that Trump is better than that is beyond me. And as you say, there is nothing remotely “left” about politics in the US. They are so terrified of Commies that everything is well right if centre. But as someone said last night, the US is run by multi national corporations and the POTUS is just a puppet front man. If you are going to have a puppet at least make him an agreeable puppet (and preferably without a fake tan and strange hair).

Once he loses the protection of the presidency, he could well end up like Harvey Weinstein, in jail. That's probably why he is so desperate to stay in the White House.

She’s probably foreseeing Trump not accepting defeat and civil war breaking out, in which case Russia will be the winner
