I still think we can come back. Although our defence is awful, Newcastle have so many injuries that they are only playing a reserve defence, and with the addition of Minamino we look dangerous in attack.
McCarthy is wandering all over the place. I believe that Fraser 'Clean Sheet' Forster would bring some much needed confidence back to our defence. I'd even be tempted to bring him on as a second half sub. The nightmare of the Old Trafford continues for Bednarek.His confidence has been badly shaken. Like McCarthy, he probably needs to be rested for a while. Perhaps now would be the time to throw Salisu on and see what he can do. Our defence is a mess. We've not got anything to lose.
