Don’t get the meltdown about the team selection. Still has the majority of our first team in it, Salisu (our supposed saviour a few weeks ago), and five at the back to at least give us a fighting chance against their horrifically talented attack. If RH put that team out on Saturday I’d be angry but it makes sense to save some legs tonight

Yep. Are we more likely to win at the Etihad?... or at home to Brighton?

No Tella, KWP or Diallo starting. I think that's the right thing to do - save them for Brighton.

We're not going to get anything from City away lads. We never were. We have much bigger games just around the corner.

A good move by Ralph

Or yet another fu cking humiliation....

Agree, although it is strange that we have 2 Right Backs on the bench and none on the pitch !!

Brighton game is on Sunday at High Noon - live on BBC

Well, RH obviously going for the game on Sunday and trying to protect KWP, Minamino, Tella and Diallo to not have too many games and risk injuries.

It is remarkable how Djenepo is able to show he will never ever make it thrice within the first ten minutes...

I say it with caution but we are holding our own and VAR is on our side for once

2-1
That's what you get for passing square across the face of the goal.

And then gifting a goal at the end ffs
All standing watching and McCarthy should have saved that too
Why did Ralph not stick with FF?!

Hopefully, no more than 6. We're a bundle of nerves at the back with McCarthy in goal.

Played quite well going forward, utter pony at the back but when you have a keeper who doesn’t make saves it’s difficult

With the way we play out from the back we are lucky to have ley only in. I cack myself every time we decide to start playing like that and the number of times in possession even near the half way line and it ends up back with McCarthy. He then stops to read a book and decides to see just how good the opposition is before he releases it

It makes zero sense bringing him back in after the two games FF played, he is so low on confidence and it permeates to the defence
Really poor decision from Ralph that one

Indeed. Combine a feeble McCarthy with Adams who thinks he's Pele now after that goal on Saturday - and things go South very quickly.

Shame - because at 1-1 we were doing okay and looking quite decent.
