The majority of voters in this country vote for other parties so he is mostly preaching to the converted. There was an excellent piece the other day about how many people don’t care that Johnson tells blatant, bare faced lies on an almost daily basis. They don’t care about the details. Johnson has sold them an image of getting our country back, just as Trump did within the Yanks, and large swathes of people lap that stuff up without worrying about minor inconvenient details like the truth.
