Get in Che !! 1-1 | |

| Saints At Leicester Matchday Thread on 16:15 - Aug 20 by Bicester_North | Clumsy foul from Salisu getting too close, good free kick but McCarthy would get some shit for letting that in |
In all fairness it’s right in the bottom corner and as it’s curled around the wall, unless he’s got some sort of X-Ray vision, he ain’t gonna see it until late. Although I do agree that even though it ain’t really the keepers fault (although I’m sure the very best might save it) if it was McCarthy in goal, he’d be hammered for it! Still just seen that we’ve got one back, yet again the subs that make the impact! Well let’s hope we can get another and really get back into this game!

I don’t think it was Maddison but yeah I know what your on about for the barge, but it’s because our lads got up straight away meaning that he doesn’t think it’s a pen, so the refs were never gonna give it. And handball wise, well I don’t think it was one, but at the same time they’re still given quite often and for all we know the exact same, if not less of a handball offence, might be given against us next week when we play Man U, as the handball rul is just soo inconsistent these days!

How about that? Wins the ball in midfield, then sets the goal up

Just taken Aribo off and going for 10 minutes of defending practice instead...surely get the 3rd and stay on the front foot...finish them off not sit back

Because bringing him on, meant he had something to prove and he was an impact player from the bench. It worked and we won the game.

| Saints At Leicester Matchday Thread on 16:58 - Aug 20 with 993 views | Bicester_North | Full credit to all involved, Hasenhuttl for not starting with 5 at the back and the superb reaction to going 1-0 down, shame we offered nothing before that but deserved to win | |

| Saints At Leicester Matchday Thread on 17:01 - Aug 20 with 932 views | ElijahK | Well we’ve started the season exactly how most fans would’ve hoped/expected us to! As I think everyone was expecting around 4 points or so. As most expected a loss against Spurs, but then a win against Leeds and a draw to Leicester, which would’ve gotten us 4 points which is exact what we’re on! So we’ve started the season as expected, so let’s hope we can keep it going now! | |

| Saints At Leicester Matchday Thread on 17:02 - Aug 20 with 926 views | Mrangry25 | Just watched it on a good stream, my god what a difference, back four looked solid even with Djenepo in there, midfield led by JWP and A Armstrong and C Adams causing them loads of issues, never panicked after going behind by poor wall position gave them that. We just looked so much better without Stephens and Bednarek. Looks like the back room staff have told RH enough is enough. Bring on the Mancs. | |

I have stood up for Ralph for a long time, and was starting to doubt him after the Spurs game, we couldn't keep losing, but there is always a little light there for me with Ralph. He's passionate, a football man, we do get some good results sometimes and the comebacks are exciting. The team looks quite quick and dynamic. Hopefully we can add another striker. It's promising but early days. Just a note about changing managers, Everton still struggling under Lampard. Man U struggling with their new manager. We don't have their resources, so let's give Ralph some credit or at least be aware that the grass isn't always greener. [Post edited 20 Aug 2022 17:05]
