Odds on to become our new manager. Underwhelming choice or the right man for the job?

Scooters, Tunes, Trainers and QPR.

Yeah. I've got the impression Ainsworth is pretty flexible and given the players he would play a style of similar to that we play now.

Yes its Ainsworth for me, we need some different type of players, than we have.

We aint got an engine in midfield, we are too nice.

I think Ainsworth would change all that?

We don't have the p!ayes to play expansive football. Start by being hard to beat, and then hopefully the football will improve.

He’d have more bollox than that lot today. What a shambles.

Even at his age, he would still be better than Thomas. Oh and Dykes, Dozzell, and Shodipo. Concerned about Dunne and Field too. Willock straying to look disinterested too by the sounds of it. New manager has a huge task on his hands keeping us away from trouble at the bottom, as I can't think of three worse teams than us at the moment...even Cardiff.

Most concerning thing is there is no update or sign of a manager being appointed. Regardless that Burnley cruised to the win, there was no structure to our play and no leadership anywhere on the pitch. Dykes was trying his best and Laird was having a go. We are far too quiet as a team, what has Rob Dickie done to be left out and be replaced by Clarke-Salter?

Well at least his name lends itself easily to banter if it goes tits up.
Relying on loans: Neil Crutchley.
Complaining he's got no budget: Neil Cratchit.
Using desperate excuses: Neil Clutchy (at straws).
Scandal: Neil Crotchley.
Knitting the team together: Neil Crochet (I know, that's a positive one).
Dressing like Scott Parker: Neil Kitschley

He comes up in my spellcheck as "Crotchless", which is a bit of a concern..

Main reason i don’t want Gaz near the club is because if/when it goes wrong some of his biggest cheerleaders on here now would destroy him with malice. No thanks, would rather he remained loved by all.

Precisely.

It's being so happy that keeps me going.

I wondered about Dickie too.Seems to be frozen out ala Ronaldo.

Or replaced by Dunne? That was my feeling.

He wasn't playing well before the World Cup break, needs to play in a back 3 imo

At least a bit of certainty and a decent choice by all accounts. Sounds like announcement had to wait until his support team were recruited.

I read that this is only the case because they scrapped it after one year, though 🧐
