Rotherham at home 20:01 - Sep 23 with 1565 viewssaint22

That’s Wussells day of reckoning
Defeat to Leeds and that game is massive for him
We have just lost to a side at the bottom
Do it again and that’s it

But the depressing things is, Sport Republic will just appoint another dud. They will go with another "one for the future, one with potential" from league one or the Swiss second division. What's the point of sacking RM? They have got the last three wrong? The real culprits are the owners and until they are gone, things won't get better.

Poll: After Nick's revelation, would you welcome back Danny Ings?

Correct.

We thought that we had the answers, It was the questions we had wrong.
Poll: Knowing what we know now, should we have sacked Hasenhüttl?

Sport Republic are the problem. Russel Martin is just the manifestation of that problem.
They've probably already got some tw8t with a Sport Physcology degree lined up for when they have to sack Martin.

Poll: If our new manager is a success, which club will he be managing in 2 years time?

Rotherham will not be an easy game.

Drew with Preston yesterday; they are very strong on set-pieces, bet they don’t even have a set-piece coach….

The longer Martin stays the less time a new manager has to turn the club’s fortunes around.

Except they won't turn it around, because it's the same owners. They have appointed three duds already, what makes you think they would make a good choice next time? Wilcox would still insist on possession football and so would his bosses. The problem is at the very top. Until they are gone, nothing will change.

I would be more concerned if SR left who we got to replace them.I want them to see the light and get an experienced manager who the players would respect and pay attention to.

There was apparently lots of interest in buying the club when Gao was selling. We were told that there were "many rich individuals" interested, but "we wouldn't like them" Semmens said. I'm sure we would have liked them more than this lot. He sold us to a bunch of idiots, who have got every decision wrong. If they stay, I don't have any faith that they will suddenly start getting it right. The possession based football, buy young players to sell for a profit, give managers a chance and so on is absolutely ingrained - they won't change. We need to get rid of the owners. It's them who are ultimately destroying this club.
