I am OK for a ticket, but am interested on behalf of others who are hoping to go.

Yes, trains are expensive and not an easy trip. Decided to make a weekend of it, will drive up with the wife and stay at Sheffield Meadowhall, only a couple of miles from the ground, 2minute walk from Hotel to the station then a 6minute train ride to Rotherham. Wife can then go shopping at the large shopping centre!! (not sure if that is a good idea!!!) | | | |

Ticket sales generally follow the same pattern its based on the allocation and the number of games, so the first tranche always has a criteria that has less people meeting it than tickets for sale, so you are guaranteed a ticket if you meet the first tranche
So we had 2,800 tickets, so that tells us that there arent more than 2,800 season ticket holders who have been to 3 or more games, but we do have over 2,800 who have been to 2 or more.
So usually the first tranche will never sell out as there are less potential buyers and not all will decide to go especially for a northern game, also there might be more than 2,800 with 2 games but only 1,500 with 3 games, etc etc. | |
