Not great from Nardi but the Derby player who puts the ball in the net is completely unmarked, with all bar one of our outfield players nowhere near him or the other Derby player and just appealing for offside.

Varane just doesn't give you enough - he's like a dilute version of late-career Jermaine Jenas. Vale is competitive, but still learning, and too often wastes possession. Both need to be hooked for Chair and Smyth at the start of the second half. | |
