The timing of this seems really odd. Surely they knew he was coming back before they sacked WS. So is he lined up as player manager in waiting kind of thing? Or is he just going to be a player and if he is, why not get him in first then see if WS gets things working with him back. Seems very odd to sack a manager before making such a signing. |  | | |
