Don’t think one person has said hes not a good player me included the issue is hes a Ltd player due to fitness levels and being useful outside the box these are the main issues with him boy can finish better than most of the first team but not much use when ur blowing out ur arse after 30 mins of doing very little to help the team , can u imagine him chasing the ball down in a high press and lasting long doing so ? Before either going off injured or just not having the fitness level to do it week in week out `until the Americans change the rules and ur allowed to bring on special players at certain times he isn’t much use apart from the odd last20 as a sub if he fit that is .
Two coach’s have said in public he knows what he needs to do to get into the squad , has he done it ? |

out bench these days is pretty strong so why would he get a place just to give himyet another run to see if he can do something ? he had a run of games last season and wasnt great as others have commentend on as well so why should we once again give him yet another run in the team just in case he fancies it ?
the obsession is thats how we are looking to play at the moment maybe it will change as we can carry a player for the odd 20 mins who dosnt fancy running around tackling etc who knows
oh yeah he loves the club hes been here sine he was a kid etc , ive been going to games since the early 70s maybe they can give ma a run as CEO etc just because i might deserve it as well |  |

The issue kolli has once again is we have brought in better players now alfie has at the moment stepped up , unless we get a run of inuires before the end of august hes stuck in the dev sqaud till jan if he dosnt go on loan , its not a good way to make a long term career in football really is it ? just because hes , one of our own it dosnt give u a space on the bench . | |

simply alfie does the hard work kolli cant ,hes also aval more of the time hes not as skillfull for sure and not a natural finisher either , but he works for the team and one other benefit we dont have numerous threads about him not playing when hes not in the squad ,
stats aint everything . im sure they will be a fans forum soon , so ask julain nourry the same question why is alfie in the squad / team over kolli. [Post edited 18 Aug 11:09]

Totally agree with this, he did literally nothing that match, looked miles off it and disinterested. Scored 2 goals!

Well I thought he was pretty good against Millwall. Really was a nuisance for their strong defence. And he did a decent job against Portsmouth. He’s perfect to bring on when you’re winning and you need to get up the pitch. | | | |

Stan Bowles would be fuk in modern football, its not all about bloody hard work , its about moments of skill that get you out of your seat ! Lloyd is like a dog chasing a plastic bag where as Kolli has the X factor., I know who id rather watch. | |

I have never said he is not a good player, but I have never understood why some think he is this amazing wonder kid.
What I have a problem with is a player who doesn't train with the intensity that JS demands - his words, not mine. MC also questioned his application to training.
He is constantly injured,probably due to his lack of training, and can't complete 90 minutes.
He sits, injured again, while Alfie takes his place, who isn't sulking despite going out on L1 loans. Alfie is making the most of his opportunity.
Bennie goes to Scotland to get minutes to improve and hopefully cone back a better player.
It's all a bit beneath young Kolli who'd sooner score wonder goals against Dulwich Hamlet in a friendly while the 1st team get fit for the season.
A wasted talent, and that is way more unforgivable than having no talent at all. He'll do well in the French 2nd division. | |

The lower leagues are stuffed with talented players who lacked the application/desire /effort to match their skill levels
Likewise the higher leagues have many player who have got their by sheer determimation and work rate. Roy Keane readily admits he was technically limited. 'Out of your seat' players are a bonus in any team ( think Tarrabt, Bowles, Wegerlie etc) but Kolli is not even close to earning his place amongst such esteemed company. For the moment at least if we are a goal up and under the cosh a bit I woild rather see Lloyd than Kolli come on to give the oppo defence something to think about. | | | |
