Portsmouth Split Down Middle In Tier Restrictions on 13:18 - Dec 18 with 607 views | 1ASIN12 | There’s always examples of this. A mate at works flat is PO13 so on the banned list ( for football, tier 3 for everything else) Yes the next door block of flats is PO14 so tier 2. The local pub has a sign up saying they will be checking names and addresses and only allowing in those with the correct post code . Even though the difference is a matter of yards . It’s ok to work with different tiers but one tier can goto the pub in the way home ( for a meal) and one tier can’t .

But where do you (literally) draw the line? As you say, there will be loads of examples like this. The only other alternative is to shut the country down complete! Unfortunately the government will be damned if they do and damned if they don't, although there will obviously be people of here who will say the other party would have done it differently. It's just an absolute abhorrent mess that we will be living with for the next 6 months or even a year or so that is no one's fault other than the Chinese [Post edited 18 Dec 2020 13:25]

Exactly right. Even if you draw the line at village, parish, district authority boundaries, there will still be people saying "oh but the next village is tier 2 and we're tier 3". I saw some dunce on the news last night complaining about this. "It's so confusing she said". No it's really not love. You're tier 3, the next town along is tier 2. Do you want to move the boundary and let people on that edge complain? FFS. I really don't know what is wrong with people.
