Bart MkII perhaps ? 2. Southampton have put two Manchester City academy graduates on their shortlist for this summer - England Under-19 striker Liam Delap, 19, and Republic of Ireland goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu, 20

I guess it's good news for Alex McCarthy, as with all the games Dragowski usually misses through injury and suspension- his dodgy knees and bad back can keep him out for months - McCarthy should be getting a lot more first team appearances next season. Dragowski's record this season (you can see why Fiorentina want to get rid of him): https://www.transfermarkt.com/ Dragowski in action, on a rare occasion he wasn't dropped or injured: https://www.bing.com/videos/se . As they’re both proven in the prem, and are both great keepers that really would help to start solidifying our defence. As yeah they may cost a pretty penny or two, but if we’re to avoid any relegation battles next season, then we’ll certainly need to spend a bit and need a decent keeper

Pope was excellent last night, surely we can afford him and he’s a lot better than McCarthy

He was at his best under koeman playing some blinders, especially in a 0.0 draw at Liverpool some seasons ago. Yes Father Time has caught up with him now he is in his thirties, but he has still played his part in important games against Man Utd , Man City, and against arsenal ,vital points that kept us out of a relegation scrap. So I agree it’s time to move on big man, and maybe some club will use him as a back up keeper. But I for one will wish him well in the future, maybe not everyone favourite keeper at st Mary’s but on his day he was a bloody good keeper, far better than Alex McCarthy, so saints will have to get a very good keeper for next season because if Alex is our number1 we will be struggling again this time next year.
