It's worse that it's ever been. And it's all at the doorstep of Semmens and Sports Republic. I've yet to hear from a single Saints fan who thought appointing Jones was a good idea. Protest, as we did against Branfoot is the only thing the morons in the directors box understand.

I was all for giving Jones a chance but there’s just nothing to cling to in terms of hope!
No points, no goals from open play, and it’s not as if we’re playing well or even improving.
There’s a big danger now that Jones will be allowed to oversee some purchases in the Jan window.
Give Dyche the job and let him spend the money. He’d have a fair chance of keeping us up, even now.

Absolutely Sean Dyche needs to be appointed immediately. An experienced no nonsense PL manager used to working with a small budget. A man who likes aggressive, physically strong players.
But Saints won't do it because the owners need to check their stats and data in order to find a bargain.

Last night was as bad as anything I ever saw under Branfoot. Tactically clueless in attack, a shambles defensively. NJ Is hopelessly out of his depth. What was worst was a complete lack of passion - with the possible exception of Lavia and KWP most of the players looked like they were thinking of which clubs they will sign for when we go down. Somehow NJ has transformed a half-decent quad into a League 1 side in a matter of weeks (we would struggle to win games in the Championship playing like that).
I can't believe I'm saying this but the owners need to admit their mistake, sack Jones and bring in Dyche. If nothing else he'll inject some fight into the players and when we go down we'll have half a chance of coming back up again with SD in charge, otherwise we're only heading one way. | | | |
