| SKY TV 12:23 - Jun 29 with 1779 views | PatfromPoole | Why do they want to keep showing us? Do they not remember how abysmal we were last season? Bloody Plymouth away moved to Saturday lunchtime as well now…. | |

It did make me laugh when some fans we using the excuse of we will be in TV less as a reason to justify in a way to look forward to the championship.

Indeed more Saturday 3pm kick offs was another misconception of many fans

Plymouth for lunchtime will be a nightmare if you factor in all the holiday traffic heading to the southwest in the middle of school holidays. Sheff Wed on a Friday night! Oh well, I guess it will save me some money..

I agree, I also wanted to go to Plymouth and Sheff Wed. Both now on TV at annoying times, so it's so tempting not to go and just watch on TV and save the money.

But is 12.30 on a Saturday a really awkward time? Ok, it means getting up a couple of hours earlier, but at least it's not say 8.00 on a Sunday night or something equally ridiculous

It means leaving at 6am. Difficult to get a train that gets there on time. It means no time to go to the pub before the game. You're right it's still doable but with it being free to watch on TV, it's tempting to just watch it on TV and have a lay in. I will be probably go to Sheff Wed and leave Plymouth.

Travelling from East Yorkshire Kingslandstand, though I will concede I am in a small minority here. I agree not alot of difference in time and it would be better if I came down the night before or at least a good part of the way. Yes, Sunday night would have been a definite NO as I have work on the Monday.

I must admit A1069, knowing your abode in Yorkshire I'd go as far as to say even thinking about going to Plymouth would be a bit of a mare so fair play for even thinking about it!

Sheff wed is never as good as it sounds. Plymouth is annoying. Only other games I’m really looking forward to are Millwall away and QPR.

I think Sheff Wednesday under the lights, nearly 40 000 fans first game after promotion should be quite good. I shall book the Friday off, travel up from about midday, so not an early start. Get back during the early hours of Saturday morning but it's the beginning of the weekend so should be fine. Waiting to see what the ticket prices will be. [Post edited 2 Jul 2023 0:48]
