David Lee played 18 games for Bolton in the Premier League when they were relegated in 1996, otherwise spent the rest of his career after leaving the Dell below the top flight in a mix of what is now Championship and League one football.
Iain Dowie half prospered , in that he played 15 Premier League games for Palace scoring 4 times after leaving here and joining them half way through in their relegation season, then signed for West ham, I thought he did well there, but in his first season 95/96 he played 33 Premier games and scored 8 times, but after that the next two seasons saw him play just 35 games and not score at all.
So I am not sure he did prosper just 16 goals in 9 seasons after leaving the Dell
Four years at QPR followed just 31 games in the Championship and just 2 goals.
Cuco Martina played 21 times in his first season with Everton, went on loan to Stoke newly relegated to the Championship in his second season, contract cancelled after 17 games in the january and then joined Feyenoord on loan.
Didn't play at all for Everton in 2019/20 season then left when his contract expired in 2020, seemed to be without a club for a while then joined Go Ahead Eagles in Holland in 2021 played just 15 games, seems to have barely played in the last 3-4 years | |
