No sign of Ross Stewart 18:53 - Nov 29 with 5203 views | GRIM | Ross Stewart not in squad to face Bristol tonight, WHY. Is he injured again. If we're afraid to play him we should not have bought him.

The pitch should be rock solid tonight it's not been that cold plus they have undersoil heating. Are we only going to play him when the sun is out & ask the opposition not to touch him.

For some unknown reason I'd forgotten SMS had underground heating Was basing the condition of the ground, after trying to dig out some Dahlias for storing in garage over winter. Rock solid. Overnight frost didnt go away during the day oop here in the frozen northern wastes.

oh please do we not have undersoil heating? can't he come on from the bench should we need a goal (likely) in the last 15? Or do we have to rely on Adams and Mara......

Hardly a frost down here Eric. We do seem overly cautious

If he's still feeling it after all the time & treatment he's had then he's always going to feel it. We've bought a crock.
No sign of Ross Stewart on 21:52 - Nov 29 with 3877 views | MytchettSaint | We could have just bought him in the January window and saved ourselves a shoot load of money on his wages.

"Ross couldn't be in the squad. He has had a setback with his injury recovery and this sometimes happens when you come back from a long-term injury. "We're assessing him but he couldn't be in the squad today and he won't be in the squad on Saturday. "Hopefully, we will have an update on Friday with a bit more of a clear answer on Ross and where his situation is - he has been scanned."

We are stuck with him till he leaves on a free in the summer. If only there weren’t goalkeepers, he’d score millions.

No sign of Ross Stewart on 12:58 - Nov 30 with 3207 views | SaintNick | Ross Stewart has only recently returned to full time training 9 months out, a lot of his muscles will not be at full strength yet, so it is natural that the increased workrate will result in strains and pulls etc

I know that - you know that so we should of avoided him like the plague. Or at least waited until the January window when he might of had some game time at Sunderland and proved his fitness.

We took a gamble, it has paid off as we are 4th in the League and unbeaten in 10 games out of the 14 that he has been able to play in, he will be a big asset in the next few months. The alternative was not signing him and risk him going elsewhere and then losing Che Adams in January for peanuts and having to go big over the odds on his replacement

How can you say the gamble in signing RS has paid off. He hasn't played a full 90mins yet & no goals. So his contribution has been zilch. There were other strikers that we could have got that were fit & ready to play. Eg. Piroe scoring for fun at Leeds. Alright Piroe might not have wanted to play for RM but there were others that we should have gone for.
