Yep. Even selling them below face value is illegal, unless it is done through an authorised platform (where other people can get a cut)

Yes it is, this got brought to my attention in the lead up to the Play Off Final at Wembley when there was lots of questions being asked, not by people looking to tout tickets but get them for other family members or friends and legitimately pass them on at face value. Even something as simple as taking an extra family member to the big occasion. I remember looking through the full club T&C’s plus the govt regs and it is draconian. I would guess there are multiple breaches of the regs every week at every PL and Championsip game up and down the country. Mostly harmless but as ever the minority (touts) spoil it for the rest of us.

If they're enforcing the T&C's properly does this mean they'll also finally clamp down on videoing inside the ground and ban all of our "influencers"?

I'd imagine being the sort of people they are, they have actually applied for licenses to film/take pictures inside the ground. They are probably begging someone to challenge them.

I wonder if this has anything to do with the last game at Goodison.

According to facebook some saints fans were offered money from a Everton fan / tout to get Everton tickets in our end for Everton fans.

I’d imagine some of their fans would pay a fair whack to see the last game at Goodison.

Can’t see much of a market for any of our other games.

There were Liverpool supporters in the Saints away end Saturday. Many Saints fans have complained about it to the club. Then this is announced this week. It's the Premier League, full of tourists and plastics who are willing to pay lots of money to see their heroes. Saints fans are cashing in and giving their tickets away, just to keep up their credits for Saints Pompey next season, and other big games they want to attend. There were Liverpool "supporters" travelling up from the south, using their local club Saints, as the only way of ever getting a ticket at Anfield. Makes you sick doesn't it.
