Its not on the common anymore, next year it will be at St Mary's but I can't see the line up will attract a full house.

Matt Goss from Bros will headline, with ABC, Kim Wilde, Jason Donovan and T'Pau with a few more still to be announced

And that is their line up for ROCK? Music genres have changed most definitely! I mean, all big names in the pop scene from decades ago, but rock?

Who on earth decided that lineup would be a good idea?

They'll need to close 3 sides of the stadium for that one; maybe even all 4. One of the fanzones would be big enough.

The Northam fanzone would be a great place for a medium size gig, it must hold around 1,500

Mind you, with the demographic they're aiming for with that lineup - middle-aged women who motor around the city centre, on mobility scooters, with cigarettes hanging out of their mouths - they might need a bit of extra space.

With that line up the event should be called I Didn't Know They Were Still a - Live Aid.

That said, with the addition of a Showaddywaddy tribute act plus the bloke from the old Fools and Horses show who couldn't pronounce his R's, you might have another Woodstock on your hands.
