We will be massive underdogs so nothing to lose in giving the game a good crack with our best team available. 4. Money spinner for the Club.

| Arsenal at Home on 19:36 - Mar 9 with 1734 views | dirk_doone | Our home record against Arsenal in recent years has been very good, including beating them, when they were FA Cup holders, the last time they played here in the FA Cup. Winning the Premier League is their priority so they will rest players. [Post edited 9 Mar 19:40]

Both Downes & Matsuki are banned for that game. We'll miss Downes he been playing really well since Tonda took charge.

We'll have Shea Charles, who is a better player than Downes. I expect Charles will relish the opportunity to show what he can do against Arsenal. Let's look forward to it with optimism. We've got a great manager who finds ways to win games. [Post edited 9 Mar 19:51]

Different times Dirk We had a pretty decent side then, KWP scored and we still had Ings Still, as you say they will be chasing the title and possibly still in the champions league so you never know

Even 10 months ago, at the end of last season, they were lucky to beat us 2-1 with a last minute goal. We've got a better manager now..

What blocks do you think they should put them in to give them 4800 tickets, 15% ?? Guess they never told them they may not get their own sears for Cup games? [Post edited 9 Mar 20:09]

Yep....their line up will tell us what our chances are. Cup will come well below Prem and Champion's league in their wish list. Hope springs eternal.

It's not going to be their first team. All of their first team players have got 2 international games after the League Cup Final, so they'll be rested for our game, especially if it's on the Saturday..

Agreed...We may also have some thinking to do because Wrexham and Ipswich games will need to be rescheduled....Ironically we have to decide Cup or Playoffs as priority.

It was made clear when people bought season tickets in that area Looking at sales for Norwich home game, I don’t think we actually sold many season tickets in Block 29 [Post edited 9 Mar 22:53]

I fear this will happen, a ground full of plastics with half and half’s, it’ll be like the bad old days of the premier league. £30 tops and you have to have been to at least 2 games this season to get a ticket.

Quite right. The two game rule should be in place whenever we are in the PL and should be for the current season as you say. Trouble is, the club will know that this game will sell out even if some tickets were £50. The tourists and the half and half scarf brigade will be all over this unfortunately. This should be a game where you must be on the database and been to at least 2 championship games this season, not one game since 2020 which is what they will probably do. [Post edited 9 Mar 21:49]
