A few beers in the belly, a night game, I think the fans will be hyped up, it's all set up for a West Brom type atmosphere. Hopefully I am not wrong, until Arsenal take a 3 goal lead that is. FA Cup Quarter Final.
8pm KO on a Saturday night on a BH weekend.
On a great run of form.
Playing the best team in the country.
Absolutely no excuse whatsoever for it to not be rocking.
Lots of people (not me) thought that moving away fans would improve the atmosphere so let's see how if tomorrow lives up to what it should be.
Hopefully we've got a few more singers from elsewhere in the Chapel as it'll be needed with the larger away support.

You are 100% correct , there’s no way we’d have created that atmosphere under the old set up.
Fair play to all side though , could even hear the chapel starting a few songs and not just jointing in with the Northam.

It was the best I've ever heard the Chapel. It would be great if it continues like that for the Derby game.
I was up until the early hours this morning watching a TV recording of the match and the commentator said "brilliant atmosphere" several times. In fact, they commented on how good the atmosphere was at least half a dozen times. That might be some sort of record for any game anywhere this season.

Even walking through town beforehand and pre KO you could feel the energy and it had that proper big game feel about it.
Chapel was brilliant, had a bunch of nippers stood on the stairs in the top corner which helped but also seemed like the rest of the stand was getting involved more. First time I felt that it was likely we were being heard in other parts of the ground.

Me too my friend. Up until about 3am watching the recordings. So many mentions of how loud it was. An incredible atmosphere. The Saints fans come together and make it loud and proud when needed. And you made the point about the Northam.wall. I agree it was special last night and pleased the away fans were in the corner last night. It helped us. That's the loudest and most passionate support I have seen from the northam wall. [Post edited 5 Apr 15:01]
