Looks like quite a lot of tickets are still available, although perhaps they have now offered up some extra blocks, particularly in the top tier. After last night, I am now expecting this game to sell out pretty quickly !!
3 of us going up by car. Got tickets in the Upper Tier. Meeting a Villa ST Holder mate before the game for a beer, but not sure where just yet, as it's always dodgy (and rough) near the ground. |  |

We went to the Yew Tree for pre-match beers once in the 90's, after being refused entry at the Witton Arms (on the roundabout). Even though the Witton Arms had 2 bars, one for home fans and one for away, we weren't allowed in as one of us didn't have id or something like that.
It used to be free to park on the streets in and around the Yew Tree area as well, so may well suggest this to my Villa mate.
We also found it amusing that there was a road called Electric Avenue near by as well and we drove down it once in order to get a short cut back towards Spaghetti Junction, begging the question: is Eddie Grant a Brummie or Villa fan !! :-) | |
