What is Ralph doing.
Djennepo has looked good pre season & early season playing on the left so Ralph plays him on the right. & he struggles.
I just can't work out who's playing where, the set up & shape is all wrong.
Ralph just cannot resist playing players out of position.
We looked like a bunch of strangers playing tonight.

So yeah he played Djenpo outta position… but who else then? And even then the only reason why Djenpo was on the left side for pre season was because we didn’t have a fullback available to us back then so needed the cover from him, whilst now we do he got moved back to his more natural position of being a winger.
As the only player who should never have started today was Elynousie, as he’s been rubbish for ages now an doesn’t look like he’s gonna change that any time soon. So starting 11 wise that’s just 1 player that he got wrong…
As today pretty much everyone were rubbish, so I don’t think you can single out a single player or coach for today as they were all rubbish.

We lost it in the midfield tonight Ely is really just another Redmond but even more clueless if that is possible, Diallo, AA, not good either. JWP has morphed back to his old sideways and backwards self. Very disappointed RH has got to start with our best eleven which was probably what we had on the fiend the last 25 minutes. I think we all got a bit excited with all the new signings but are we actually any stronger than last season.
We had 3 players playing tonight that couldn't get into the side last season.
Diallo + Elynoussi + Djennepo weren't good enough last season but are getting regular game time this season.
That would suggest we are actually weaker this season.
We have a bigger squad but not a better team.
We had better players on the bench than on the pitch at Villa.
The youngsters we have need tactically astute management to survive in Premier lge & Ralph is not able to provide that. | | | |

We've lost our last two games 1-0 - both away & both to very poor/sloppy goals - when we should really be getting something at both (Wolves & Aston Villa). These are exactly the kind of games we "should" be winning, or at the very least drawing, if we are going to make any kind of progress at all - ever - under Ralph. We ended up losing both purely & simply because of Ralph's team selection from the kick-off.
Will he ever learn? I don't think he will. He's trying to keep the whole squad happy by playing them all - every single one of them. Any manager worth his salt knows however that you pick your very best/strongest side - and stick with them - week after week.
But not Ralph. No. He has to change things every single f*cking game. |  |

Diallo isn’t good enough but has to play as Lavia is injured.

And he has no idea what system he wants to play. We had absolutely no shape or discipline last night.
If you fill the side with experience the players will will determine the system.
But we don't have that experience.

Well if it was them wanting to make money then it sure was a stupid decision, as we wouldn’t have sold him for too much, and him staying could’ve probably gotten us finishing quite a few positions higher, which would’ve gotten a lot more money than his transfer wee has! | |
