Get us out of the PL. These players don't care for the Saints. How there isn't more criticism of certain players not giving their all, I really don't know. Keep up the clapping of all these players who will be on the next jet up north, the minute a few notes are flittered in front of them. The thing is Southamptonfan this sadly doesn't even surprise me. I have had a hunch since the day he joined us that he didn't really want to be at Saints but I have a bigger gut feeling that he isn't the only player in our team that isn't bothered. I also think a couple of them have been alienated by the decisions at management level so the combination of the 2 is another factor and a sign that there is a sense of rot at so many levels.
If this summer is not a catalyst for change at all levels then I don't know what is. My only concern is, we don't have a Marcus Liebherr to steer the rudderless ship into some sense of direction. | | | |

It isn't all the players' fault that there is a lack of team spirit. The owners have brought in a bunch of youngsters who've not played together before and they know they've only been brought here so they can be sold on for a profit.
A team needs to be built slowly over the years, not thrown together in a couple of transfer windows, and there need to be some older players in their 30s, like Lewis Dunk and Danny Welbeck at Brighton, who know they will be at the club until the end of their careers. We could have done with a central defender and striker in their 30s this season, who'd have cost no more than the youngsters but would have helped the team win more games. Free yes, but I'd have guessed they'd be almost top earners at the club and would be looking for a final big oay out. And that's the problem with this club, they won't pay the salaries for experience |  |

The problem is the wage bill, not the transfer fee.
That is exactly why we sign foreign players & players from the lower leagues.
Their wages are only about a third of established Premier players.
Can anyone e remember when we last signed a proven Premier league player.
