Walker-Peters - off to Galatasaray?? 09:24 - Jan 26 with 2575 viewsPatfromPoole

No idea if this is a credible source.

He is too good to play in a schmuck League though.

Shame we can't sell him to Goztepe and then loan him back.

But then these deals with Sports Republic clubs only seem to go one way, and they never benefit Saints.

Poll: Would you take going down to League 1 if it meant new owners coming in?

He's not going anywhere in this window. He will just ride out his contract that expires in June.

I would be surprised if he ended up in Turkey. He's too good for that league and is still only 27.

Other 'unfounded' rumours include a move to Everton.

I wish him luck wherever he goes. He runs his heart out every game. I feel sorry for him, being stuck in such a terrible team. He deserves better.

He did a bit of a lap around the pitch yesterday on his own after the game. Rumour has it that Everton have come in for him at about 5 million. We get 5 million now or nothing in the summer. This would make sense for all involved, so I could see this happening.

I wasn't there yesterday, but this is usually a tell tale sign. As for £5m, I can't see us getting that from a club who are skint and knowing he is out of contract in June. However, they may want to secure his services now, knowing there will be competition for his signature when he is a free agent?

Why sell to a potential competitor for that 3rd drop spot!

We sold England Youth international Jayden Meghoma to Brentford for £5mill ffs. How have we never managed to sell KWP? 5Mill in football terms is peanuts and not worth taking.

We are effectively down, and if we can get £5m for a player whose contract is out in June, it makes sense. I wouldn't begrudge him a move now given our predicament and staying with us when we went down.

Everton are not really a rival to us for last drop spot. They are 17 points ahead of us (18 if you include goal difference). I can't even see us getting 23 points , what Everton have now..

I've seen few players as comfortable on the ball as KWP.

He's not got the tricks of Boufal, but his close control is sublime.

I’d like to see him at Everton, the fact that he can play in both full back roles is a bonus and he could be a very good upgrade to Ashley Young who has done pretty well to give him credit.

And 5 million is a bit of a steal.
