Jesus... I can let my pooper relax now. Peretz and the defence were incredible tonight. In fact the whole team were superb. Still think if we had more fire power we wouldnt find ourselves in the position where we have to fight for our lives but thats a SR legacy issue we can hopefully grow out of. Another Tonda masterclass for me. We kept the game slow and tight in the first half so Norwich couldn’t play their attacking game. And then we defended our lead solidly in the second.
We could have conceded but we didn’t - in part down to solid goalkeeping - and I thought we kept Norwich largely at bay.
Tonda has got us into the play off places. It’s not all over yet but let’s just let that in. After last season and then the Will Still nonsense, he has been superb. |  |

We are winning games ugly when we need to. That is a massively good sign. We have had 4 away games in a row, beat the league leaders on Saturday, have some key injuries, looking tired at times this evening, yet we got the win. It wasn't pretty, but we showed incredible resilience. I agree, Tonda has been superb. We win pretty, we win ugly, we win. Just 10 points from top two. With Tonda from the beginning of the season, we would have won the title. But we are where we are. An exciting end to the season to come. | |
