Im not really sure what you mean here Pat, we have not struggled scoring goals, we have Larin, we have Mubama on loan, we have Dobbin, we have attacking players who can score goals, this would put Princewill, 4th in line assuming all 3 of Downs, Brereton Diaz & Archer are shipped out.
It will only lift the crowd if he scores early on, if he plays a few games and doesn't score then the crowd will be on his back.
Dominic Ballards legendary status with some of our fans is not based on his exploits in a Saints, shirt, where he made two very ordinary appearances in the Premier League, his late cameo against Grimsby and of course his debut with a goal at Cambridge.
It is based on what he has done elsewhere, which if I am blunt is his one season at Orient, he was average elsewhere.
Saints have done well to send Nick Oyekunle out on loan, hopefully he will score goals and get his confidence up
The truth is with young players coming through, you rarely get any that play a significant number of game, you are lucky if you get one every 3 years , most play a handful of games, mainly off the bench and then move on to a lower league club |  |
