To be fair to him, he's too good to waste another year of his career in the Championship and I'm sure his father-in-law would have told him that. But, we'll struggle to replace him. He's not only our best defender but he's also our main goalscoring threat at corners. He scored as many goals as Scienza last season. |  |

Really enjoyed the last 5 minutes, can't say I enjoyed much of the rest of it
We looked rather disjointed and a work in progress which is understandable due to the current circumstances
As the game went on I was expecting Stoke to win it
Subs changed the game and some Divin intervention, great finish
Nothing better than pinching the three points late on and the penalty in injury time was icing on the cake

Saints fans were superb, there wasn't much noise in the first half and the team seemed disjointed. Come the second and the crowd really upped the noise levels which definitely fired up the team. More intent, more pressure and the goals came.

It did feel like we would get a late winner the way the game was going as many a time you could feel it going the other way (in the past)
I was moaning about the ref and some of the decisions...but i think he more than balanced it out with not punishing captain jack for the goalkeeper incident, (which in years gone by would have been a red for him) the penalty and sending off . which baring in mind i was in the northam , it looked offside AND outside the box .But obviously we will take it as it makes up for one of very many that have gone against us over the last few seasons .
Its just a shame we couldn't "bank it" and use it next Saturday instead |  |
