We've got to go back to basics and start defending better even if it takes something away from the attacking threat. Conceding nearly two goals a game on average is absolutely killing us and if we carry on like it, we'll end up much nearer the bottom than the top of the table. [Post edited 2 Oct 2019 21:40]

The focus will be on our defending which was again poor but I think we need to be a lot better in the final third, the final ball and shooting was poor tonight, with a bit of composure and better decision making we could easily have won tonight | | | |

We have to learn to defend better but it is easy to see where we need to get a few players in and why Warburton was so keen to get more CBs in. But for me we don't have a midfield enforcer and perhaps that will get better when Amos returns because he wins so much in the middle.
We are going to lose games. We just need to learn to defend far better and not be so open and also not lose confidence so quickly, which seems to be a curse with this club. |  |
