Brexit comes early on 07:36 - Jan 12 by SalisburySaint | Welcome to the reality of Brexit https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-55622331 this is just a minor issue, most Lorry drivers are more likely to be getting frustrated over the extended customs process to get into Europe. It took my mate 4 hours to get through customs going into Caen last week with his Removal Lorry, and that's relatively quiet compared to Calais |
That's interesting to know. Have the same to do after the plague has receded. The thought of some handsome young feelie in a uniform wanting to confirm the internal diameter of my puckering, expectant butt hole fills me with great excitement. Oo la la !

Brexit comes early on 10:58 - Jan 12 by Sadoldgit | We are certainly living in strange times. Two imbecilic , incompetent, narcissistic chumps voted in either side of the Atlantic, Covid-19, Brexit, global warming, capitalism going down the toilet, the breakdown of democracy in the USA - what next? We seem to be going backwards at 100mph. Fortunately I won’t be around to see the next 50 years but if things carry on as they are I am concerned for the future of my children. |
At least you acknowledge you wont be around but have concern for the future generations shame so many others didn't think like that in 2016

Strange times? I remember two dangerous, self obsessed liars being voted in during 1997. Two evil megalomaniacs who decided to 'multiculturalise' the UK with absolutely no limits. Without the common decency to ask the British people. Involved Britain in a totally illegal war which cost the lives of many thousands of people, including those of the British Military. Without the common decency to ask the British people. Now we have an overloaded health service, schools, roads, welfare system and a housing shortage crisis caused directly by these two scumbags. Oh, and of course we're forever a target for terrorism, due the illegal involvement in Iraq. The criminals Blair and Straw. If ever this country started going backwards, it began in 1997.

Brexit comes early on 10:53 - Jan 12 by solent_toffee | Are you kidding? Whether they like us or not, the revenue of holidaying Brits plays a significant part to the Spanish economy and they can’t afford to lose out on Brits going over there. And after a year or so under lockdown, Brits will be flocking back there, regardless of how much a pint of beer has gone up. |
Certainly correct. They were already hurting from massive loss of revenue last year, and the Spanish government has actually stated that they don't want to see the end of British tourism in their country with the accompanying loss of billions. In VAT on beer for a start!

Brexit comes early on 13:39 - Jan 12 with 1034 views | Bazza | For all you doomsters who still can't get over the democratic votes of 2016 and 2019. On bright side in the last year; In Britain households increased savings, internet got faster, less people smoked, more people read books, fewer young men died than 5 year average, 93% trains ran on time, crime rates fell (apart from drug offences), Cummings got sacked and Barnier got withdrawn from the EU negotiations so a deal was signed. Vaccines were developed . Add to that most importantly Saints had a great year!

Rubbish. Britons make up 21.5% of Spain's annual tourism market & spend a whopping £1.7M per hour on holiday there. We added about £17Billion to Spain's coffers in 2019.

I take your point, but what Blair and Straw did was to further their twisted agenda, and fu ck the rest of us. There was a law for example, preventing the partakers of false marriages in Pakistan facilitating the procurement of British passports just to get into this country. Straw removed this and thousands of passports were given to those who should never had been allowed in. Coincidentally, many of constituents at that time in the UK were of Pakistani descent. Nice little vote earner.

Think you left the ‘not’ out of that sentence. Either way it’s an unprovable speculation so why say it?

"There may be bumps in the road but we'll all be better off in the long term", we're patronisingly told by the hard of thinking idiots. Take your medicine like a good boy. It tastes shiite but it' ll do you good and all will be fine, eventually. "You'll get pie in the sky when you die", said Joe Hill. Unprovable speculation it seems to me.
