For the people who disagreed with us leaving the E.U --- Can't YOU SEE - and
now get behind and support the idea that we have now left? Just open your mind.... and ajust your views --- Earlier today Ashwani Gupta the chief operating officer for Nissan UK - announced that they have signed off ...... TO BUILD ONE OF THE LARGEST CAR BATTERY FACTORIES IN THE WORLD - IN SUNDERLAND ..... thus protecting THOUSANDS of jobs - One of the reasons given was ---- WE CAN NOW TARGET " THE WHOLE WORLD " without interference from the E.U.

Brexit cannot last. The European Court will soon issue a series of judgements:

- Brexit cancelled and direct rule from Brussels
- Scotch made an independant state within te EU
- NI handed over to Irish republic
- Spain to gain ccontrol over Gibralter
- Channel Islands to become French

Well, I say let's get out there and tw@t it!

Hi ASIS

You have been quiet and it's good to see that the EU is still getting you excited.

As you know, Nissan was operating successfully in the UK before we left the EU, so this is hardly a Brexit bonus.

I know that you are a Brexit fan but I wonder do you recognise in any way the upheaval that Brexit has already brought to, for example, labour supply, food and fish producers/suppliers, the rights of UK people to live abroad and the situation in Northern Ireland.

You might think that all these things are worth it so that we can be free of Brussels but I just wonder whether you even acknowledge them?

Poll: Should we try to replace Selles for the final seven games?

This means thousands of jobs for Mackems..
Can't YOU SEE.and ADJUST YOUR VIEWS?!
Not sure what Mr Gupta actually said as the OPs command of English grammar and punctuation is not very confidence inspiring.
It's typical that we only hear about the occasional positives and never any comment about the loss of thousands of livelihoods, the onerous bureaucracy and additional costs, the loss of freedom, the threat to national unity, the threat to peace and stability, the cost of all this Brexit etc etc. Of course that is all hidden and under reported due to the pandemic.

5 years and you’re still creating disunity. Stop reading the Mirror or Guardian and you’ll see a brighter side of reality

I'm creating nothing.
I don't start these political threads.
A brighter side of reality is something I hope for and look forward to.
Thanks for your concern.

The Ancient Britons had muddy tracks, the Romans built proper straight roads.
As for sewers one can only imagine the sewers the Ancient Britons had compared to the Romans.

I’m not going to comment on the merits of the arguments either way, other than to ask why ASIS has to SHOUT so much to make his point? 🧐

Are you suggesting a multiple identity theory? It's been a while since we had one of those on here.

A work of genius I think to make him up.

HOORAY WE'RE saved. Bexit REALLY works and WE CAN corner THE WORLD car BATTERY market. I bet NONE of THOSE stupid FOREIGNERS have thought of doing this EH?

OH HANG on. NISSAN are INVESTING $1.4bn IN THE Sunderland plant; Samsung INVESTED $1.56bn in 2 plants in Hungary WHICH have BEEN RUNNING since 2018; SK Innovation HAVE two plantsIN HUNGARY one of which OPENED IN 2020 TOTAL investment $1.62bn; LG Chem ARE OPENING a plant IN Poland in 2022 total INVESTMENT $3.03bn; Northolt ARE opening A plant in SWEDEN IN 2024 total INVESTMENT $4.7bn and CATL are OPENING a plant IN GERMANY in 2022 total INVESTMENT $1.95bn and NISSAN ARE ALSO building a $2.4bn PLANT in FRANCE. And that's just EUROPE.
Most of these plants ARE already RUNNING or will OPEN by 2022 SO WE'RE already 2 to 5 YEARS behind other EU COUNTRIES and we're GETTING less investment.
