It is good news. People who don’t want to work should either be in a position to pay their own way from private funding, or if they are receiving benefits work for the dole or be in retraining courses etc. My comments do not apply to those who are unable to work.

Good news, but this was initially announced 2 years ago, today’s announcement relates to the securing of £100m government funding. Nevertheless, it’s potentially a lot of new well paid jobs which is great news.
The project would have been unlikely to go ahead without funding. There was talk of building it in Wales but little help ftom the Welsh government and due to the poor infrastructure and the cancellation of the much needed M4 relief road ot got no further.

A Port of Dover spokesperson said: "TAP is a well-established and regularly used normal operational tool to help manage traffic flows into the Port of Dover at busy times and it has been for a number of years.
"This was the case yesterday [Friday] as it has been similarly over the past few days."
A DFDS spokesperson said it was refurbishing a ship which normally operates on the Dover route.
The spokesperson said: "With traffic returning to normal levels after the Christmas and New Year holidays, there have been short delays but we are working to make sure everyone gets on the earliest crossing possible."

Of course it is, although early signs are not great, but as long as there are threads cheerleading for Brexit there will be sensible opposition.
