They can spend more on 1 player than we can to build an entire team. Football is a bore. And this year’s FA Cup will be won by one of 3 richest teams.zzzzzzzz

This is for a game that could have got us to the Semi Final. If we haven't got anyone beater to cover Bednarek than Stevens heaven help us. City by their standards have been poor. |
Not much wrong with the plan. You can't account for two glaring error by the centre backs & we didn't have any other options there anyway. The only thing I'd like to have seen is the subs being made at half-time.

Agree with all that. We gave it a go - but a Stephens error and Salisu shove made it a mountain to climb.

And what's the problem with Broja and Che Adams playing a full 90 minutes? Man City are one of the best teams in the world and he puts out Shane Long (37) and Adam Armstrong who to date cannot hit a shot anywhere on target. And let's not forget Stephens who was at fault for two of the goals - surely Perraud or Valery can fit in there and do no worse, probably better...sorry Hassenhutl, could have easily got something from that, especially in the first half when City looked well below par.

'Not much wrong with the plan' Are you serious? Why start the game with your two weakest forwards? As for the plan!! We lost 4-1 and didn't even score ours.

Two weakest forwards for what? Adams & Broja can't press with the same high intensity for a full 90 mins. Armstrong (A) probably should have put one away but so should Adams. I was happy with the situation at half-time with our two best goal scorers still in reserve.

Nothing wrong with set up, even after the penalty we had a chance to level it, we matched the best team in the world for 60 minutes. City fans so quiet

Before you tell me that he closes down better etc etc, then why doesn't Ralph do that for league games?

Agree Grumps. Play our strongest available team. Otherwise what is the fvcking point? Same teams winning the same fvcking teams every fvcking season. Football is getting close to dead. Oh, and then we have the Qatar World Cup where being gay is fvcking illegal, FFS and several thousand people dead to build a stadium for rich fvckers to lord it up in. Disgusting. And I’m not even a socialist.

So you think starting Long aged 35 and Armstrong who has scored just 2 goals in 20 games against one of the best sides in the world was the right decision? Why on earth have your best goal scorers in reserve? I'm reading Lawrie's autography at the moment, his mindset was completely different to Ralphs, theres no way he would have started such an important game with his best forwards sat on the bench.

Probably because you haven't got 5 subs in a league game... and we don't play Man City every week.

Manchester City FA Cup Game Matchday Thread on 17:57 - Mar 20 with 742 views | Mrangry25 | I f*ckin give up, wtf is RH thinking about when he puts the two midgets up front, Long can’t score and AA hasn’t got a good shot in him. Valery for Stephen’s would have been the better choice, At halftime I still think we had a chance but a rash challenge on that diving cheating git Sterling and we were done. Then bring on Djenepo what for? A plank of wood has got more idea. This was a one shot at it game and RH blew it for us, 4-1 flattered them tbh but as someone said 222 million quid in substitutions what more can you say.

We were lucky with West Ham,they were very poor and City were there for the taking if we had scored a couple of goals in the first half which may have happened if we had played our best strikers.
