There may be a late rush after the win at Palace, but as ist stand this morning, it looks like we will be lucky to top 20k for the visit of Manchester City in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday

I've got 3 tickets. One for yours truly, one for my Arsenal supporting neighbour and one for his Liverpool supporting step-son.

There aren't going to be many chance to see City, and possibly Haaland, in the foreseeable future.

Haaland surely wouldn’t play in this game.

I would agree, hence possibly. He was on the bench for their FA Cup game but he might get 20 mins as he did f'k all in December.

You're having a bubble right?

Going to SMS see City's allstars, think the fan in your monika says it all, most of the boys on here are supporters, not fans, who go and support when we're good or shite, and don't give a monkey's about the opposition.

Stay at home and watch Haaland on the box with a mug of cocoa, we don't need queens like you up there.

Queens? Can I report you for homophobia?

I went to far more games in L1 than now we're in the PL and would far prefer to watch a 1-0 victory over Exeter than a 3-3 draw with City but our owners have given up, we will be relegated and I think Haaland may take Messi's position as World number 1 so the chances of seeing the world's best player at SMS will be all but no-existent after this season and I can't see our clueless owners having the ability to get us promoted.

A couple of points

1. Why do you think our owners have given up ?

2. Why are our owners clueless, Rasmus Ankersen who is running the show so to speak , had the ability to take Brentford up, so how has he lost that ability.

Please stop trying to defend this corrupt/incompetent/useless/crAp

in 2023 are you seriously telling me in a large football stadium with all the available technology they can't cover every angle for offside, total BS

They managed to detect 0.5of a mm in the WC that Japans ball didn't cross the line yet the PL cant get an offside correctly covered

Its BS, or idiocy, which given the PL and this country isn't unlikely

I'd say that there are at least 3x as many controversial/ridiculous VAR related decisions than there were really obvious errors previously.

That's all anyone needs to know. A system which is meant to make everything work better has done the exact opposition.

AND it's made the game less 'natural' with all this waiting for decisions from idiots who don't have a clue in Stockley Park.

It's a double whammy of rubbish.

1. Nathan Jones
2. They are clueless as they have taken an established PL club and, in less than 12 months, done substantially worse than our absentee Chinese owner. They have wasted what money we do have on a load of kids nowhere near ready for the PL (see Bazunu, G) and we now sit rock bottom of the PL after losing our last 6 PL games and and being utterly outclassed (30% possession) to those giants of world football Brighton and Fulham in our last 2 PL games.

1. That doesnt mean they have given up just made a mistake.

2. Again that doesn't make them clueless, the new signings just havent worked out as of yet.

Try and come up with some reasoned arguments rather than just bleating.

We're bottom the league and been outclassed by Brighton and Fulham. How many reasoned arguments do you need?

We've been bad the past few seasons but haven't been dragged deep into a relegation fight like this season.

They're clueless as they are trying to do things to improve the bank balance of the club in a few years time by signing youth, not improving the quality of players on the pitch today. They are clueless as they seem not to realise that all this will be for nought if we go down.

Our keeper is about ten years away from his prime and statistically the worst in the PL. How much have Edozie, the dwarf LB and Mara contributed this season?

I don't know how more evidence you need but it will be fun watching you trying to style out relegation without blaming the owners.

I assume you'll fall back on an old stalwart and blame the fans...

Again you contradict yourself

1 Cant argue with being bottom of the league, but we werent outclassed by Fulham.

2. Whilst we have signed a few youngsters, but you dont seem to take into account that they have also just signed a 30 year old and in the summer signed Joe Aribo & Caleta-Car both aged 26, so they are not only signing youth.

You give a lot of blame to Bazunu, who ys is perhaps a little too inexperienced, but McCarthy who is much older is no better, Bazunu hasnt been helped by the number of injuries in defence, he was fairly solid up to the time we lost KWP & Bella Kotchap.

I dont try to deflect the blame from the owners here, if we go down they have to have some accountability, but I do defend them in your bleating about them being clueless, Ankersen has a track record and they have spent a lot of money, after all it was only a year ago you spent all your time on here blaming the previous owners for not spending any money

He was clearly onside. They had the same replays that we had. The lines weren't needed, just a replay. Why didn't they just tell the ref he was onside from the replay we all saw? Funny that, VAR doesn't work at Anfield, when they were about to be knocked out. VAR wasn't needed, just a common sense, "it's definitely onside ref" word in the ear. Just corrupt.

I don't think VAR is corrupt, there is no evidence for this, its just fans and pundits opinions and a touch of small town paranoia.
Don't get me wrong I personally would get rid of it and just accept the fallibility of refs and linos and man up and stop being a crybaby when it don't go your way.
The reason there is an impression that the "big" clubs get the VAR decisions is more likely down to the fact that they are doing the vast majority of the attacking and therefore more dodgy incidences occur in and around the opposition final third. Just the law of averages.
