Difference Grumps is that I like what he is trying to do as a fan , but when you get a player making a 20 yard pass but gets cut off 15 yards into its journey because he mis-judged it then I would say its the player , a guy on 40K a week I would expect , as amanager could do that.
So ..... I like the team set up , I agree its the managers fault for trusting a player to do that. But i am not hanging out the manager to dry tonight , there will be some very low player scores on my voting for the match today. But I can see what Jones wants to do , I think it could be exciting , but too many shit players today , who I must add jsut come off a 3 game winning streak.
So grumps go hang the manger if it makes you feel good. I hope he gets it right , especially on Tuesday night as will be there cheering them on. | |

All I am saying Grumps you seem to want a manager that did Ralph things but gets better results.....
This guy has ideas but needs to sort out the personnel. Odeze I would of pulled much earlier , switch the fullbacks , he got Perraud on. You say he should of started like that , maybe. But he is trying to get a formula that works.
You say all this things that went wrong in your opinion , and you are right.
Lets try it from another direction..... do you like anything he did today or in the cup games ? We may find some middle position that way but I tend to ignore total negativity posts , it just sounds like a rant. | |

The angriest I’ve ever been after a defeat was against Villa few years back when Cash saved a shot with his hand and then we had a goal disallowed which was on side, sounds like we’ve been done again by VAR.

You and others keep saying that Lyanco’s a red card “waiting to happen”, but then why hasn’t it happened yet then? As really I think he’s very similar to Romeu on the fact that he’s an intelligent enough player to know when to diving into tackles and when he’s gotta be cautious as he’s on a yellow, as Romeu got loads of yellows but didn’t get sent off once for us, and the more I see Lyanco play and get these cautionings but still stay on that pitch for 90 minutes, the more I see how intelligent and similar those two are. |  |
