oh! well that was coming and that is down to Jones.

Jones needs to GO, and NOW, we also need a decent Striker, NOT F**kin Che Adams

It’s all Gods will.

Unai Emery - Arsenal Villareal

Jones - Yeovil Luton

Spot the difference.

At least Luton can start winning now 2-0 today, that says it all

reality check today, Villa played the ref to extreme (wish Saints would learn those tricks)

even the Chapel End pigeon was a no show. Wonder if it was the pigeon operating the drone, or was it a Ruskie one that took a wrong turn

Well, I say let's get out there and tw@t it!

Our two new signings purchased to improve the quality of our team were on the bench
Once again we have a manager who doesn’t know how to pick his best team

Some credit to Villa, who dominated large parts of the game. But also got a big rub of the green for the disallowed Prowse goal. I think we look just slightly better than before Hasenhuttl was around. But like then, we concede goals from set plays like confetti.

More than happy to trade the cup semi final for three points.

Nah. Three points are worthless if there is little possibility of adding more. Settle for a decent cup run before oblivion. Having watched championship football recently, I fear for Saints. They won't be good enough.

Can’t believe some of the responses on here

We weren’t great but imo deserved at least a draw

And the disallowed Prowse goal was a disgrace

It’s supposed to be a clear and obvious error, but it took the ref who’d give the goal ages to work out there was a foul, so it certainly wasn’t clear and obvious

I just don't get it, we sign two new players & it would appear that neither of them are good enough to start.
When we buy players they should be better than what we have or why buy them.
All the other clubs have bought players that go straight into the team.
When we bring in new players they have to be ready to go straight into the team because we need result NOW.
For each game they miss is a game closer to relegation.

The owners are just using the club as a factory to produce players that get sold for a profit. They don't care about fans' enjoyment.

You do know relegation will cost them a packet? They don’t want to go down but it’s increasingly likely.

So I've just seen a replay of our goal that was chalked off.

Unbeleivable .. The tiniest little nudge and it's given their way. Phuking disgraceful. Nothing wrong with that goal we would have gone in to win that game, the momentum would have carried us through .

It's seems like it was the players of villa winging and moaning that got it looked at. The ref caved in, stupid bloody game!
See you Tuesday

keep the faith coyr

Nope, it wasn't the nudge it was a stamp on the players ankle. MOTD pundits all agree it was a foul. Elyonoussi the culprit

They are so convinced that they can turn a pig's ear into gold, buying young players to develop, that they are just burying their head in the sand. They don't want to admit that they are wrong with their policy either. They will indeed lose a shed load if they go down. But again, they think we have wonderful young players that will get us back up again.

The Owners might start to think about enjoyment when we are languishing in the depths of the Championship.
We need results now, not money.
How come we've brought in loads of new players in the last two transfer windows but we're still relying on two players that couldn't get into the team last season (Adam A & Diallo).
These two are just not good enough for Premier lge.
AS I'VE SAID BEFORE WE HAVE A BIGGER SQUAD BUT NOT A BETTER TEAM ! ! ! .

I came away today feeling disappointed for the team, whilst it was not a gold plated performance we were completely undone by the woeful officials who did nothing but get 99% of the their decisions wrong. The blatant cheating and time wasting of the midland scum was so clear to see for everyone except the inept t@at in blue with the whistle.

That said I did find some decisions that NJ made today baffling, why take Lavia OFF and leave Diallo ON, Diallo gave the ball away so many times today it was frightning, and as much as I do not think Che Adams is any good, he put in more of a shift than Mara when he came on who just seemed to be dis-interested.

I hope that on Tuesday night he plays our 2 new signings and gives us a chance ti get to Wembley. COYR

Adams was caught napping offside when a cross came into the box. He still fumbled it.
Just over a week ago Mara scored with a sweet shot in almost exactly the same place from a similar cross.
Adams is dead wood.

Cant disagree, but yesterday we needed Mara to put in a bit more effort, Che Adams has been dead wood since he arrived.
