It’s what we deserve.

We’re not good enough.

The fans deserve it as well.

Atmosphere was abysmal today. Should have been rocking for a game like that.

Too many “fans” just talking to each other, rather than supporting the team.

If we're not getting a striker I'd play Orsic and Stu Armstrong up front together, they've got to better than Adams and A. Armstrong.

To be fair, Randall & Hopkirk would be better up front than those two.

Though I guess it does not matter to us personally and makes no difference whatsoever it is interesting when I hear pundits, commentators be it on radio or TV I am not aware of a single one who cares a jot or has any empathy for our club or supporters if Southampton goes down and yet in the case of many of the other clubs around the relegation zone be it Everton, West Ham, Leeds, Leicester etc there seems to be alot of empathy and support for those teams to stay up. I really get the impression that no one in the PL "family" will not miss us at all and probably see us as an annoyance.

As to whether we deserve relegation - if you don't score goals, concede more than you score, lose more than you win or draw over a sustained period of time then you will be relegated. Despite the number of games left and despite what seemed a brief glint of light last week I cannot see us or our neighbours Bournemouth surviving.

You think conceding 17 goals in 10 home games is ok?

Well yeah for where we are, as a fair few teams have got around the 15 mark, yet they’re all up as high as 5th, it’s just they can score whilst we can’t which is why we’re down there and they’re not

Stu Armstrong has a serious groin injury and was playing in pain for some time.

We may well not see him return until next season.

Yeah and that’s why we’re going down unless we did get one

Blame the fans that pay to watch this shiit every other week. We've put up with this for decade's. We had 1 year with marcaus at the top when it starting looking up. Since then we've been asset stripped. It's not the fans fault, if would be like cheering at a funeral

I can’t argue with any of this. As I’ve said before the club doesn’t want to play ball the premier league is too big for a club of our aspirations. Are owners are not ambitious enough to lay the money for a good quality striker to keep us up and even if they did offer good money for a good striker, Why would he come to saints? The damage has been done.

We are paying the price for years and years of mediocrity and lack of ambition . We do deserve to go down . It may be a while before we get our act together if we do go and maybe we need a few years in the championship. The fans have been treated like shit. Roll up roll up buy your season tickets we’re sell everyone and you’ll get f@ ck all in return. Meanwhile massive clubs like Brighton and Fulham outperform us. I m’ surprised we get anybody through the turnstiles. Sick to death of people blaming the fans.

The support was good if not blindly fanatical. Sadly, only one team was playing premiership football, and it wasn’t us. Only Edozie and Walker Peter’s looked PL class, and most of our threat came through them.

Diallo excelled, giving the ball away in 3 dangerous positions instead of his usual once or twice. How come Buendia was NEVER picked up and was virtually controlling the whole game. I will be amazed if we can avoid relegation.

I wouldn't say Villa played PL football either, mind you nor did the ref or var.
