Ryan Fraser would love to stay 20:32 - Jan 10 with 2050 viewsSouthamptonfan

Fraser on his future plans and a potential permanent move to St Mary’s:

“My time at Newcastle is done. Promotion is the first thing on my mind, but hopefully I have a good end to the season and the club want to keep me. Every time I step onto the pitch or into Staplewood, I need to give myself the best opportunity because there is no place I want to be other than Southampton next season.”

Personally, I love the wee man. Refreshing to hear players wanting to be here. Over to you Saints.

Poll: After Nick's revelation, would you welcome back Danny Ings?

I'd make him captain.
After the last game he collapsed onto the ground, the wee man had given his all.

I love players,Nick who give their all.
Adam Armstrong is another, you can forgive their shortcomings(no pun intended)because they give everything.

It was only against Walsall, but that was certainly the biggest shift he has put in for us, since he joined.
Having been mainly been used as an impact sub (to great affect), his first full 90 mins was full of energy, attacking with pace, making plenty of runs behind the defence and helping out his fullback.
2 well taken goals, an assist and should have had a hat trick.
His form and ability to last a full game has come at the perfect time, as we wait for Edozie and Sulemana to return from injury, so let's hope his form continues along with our unbeaten run.

I love his attitude and energy and the desire he has
Plus he wants to be here so reward that
Also it is so great to have a player whose first insurance od to drive forward and attach and not slow down turn round and play it back
He is endlessly looking to run forward

Absolutely.

Some might say he is putting shifts in to get a deal which is not uncommon, however I fo feel this guy is torally genuine.

Has been a revelation and would love to see him sign permanently. If we should go up will have that bit of PL experience as well.

Ready and waiting to mop up those European places......

I can only wish him PL football next season-in a Southampton shirt, of course.
Great after last season's abject capitulation to see a player who values his job and does it.

I also hope he signs, His attitude and effort is top draw.

Lets hope he goes back to Newcastle for pre season and really pi*ses Eddie Howe off even more than he has done so far that they sell him to us on the cheap before transfer window closes, just tp get rid.

Howe really doesn't have much time for him. Not sure what the history is there ?

Great player with tons of experience and you'd imagine would be a good influence.
I always loved him coming on 2nd half after Edozie had run the full back ragged going inside and out.
Then on comes Wee man to deliver the knockout blow.
