Surely this must be at an all time low.

In midweek Leeds had at least two goals incorrectly disallowed for offside.

Today how anyone can wave play on after foul on Fernandes and suggest he was allowing advantage when we had one isolated player on ball up front is beyond me, and then allows Villa to break through and score, an absolute joke

Only had to breathe on a Villa player and collapsed to the ground.

We were having the same discussion. It really did come across that we don't matter as we're down

Every time a Villa player threw himself down, he got a free-kick. The ref didn't award us a single free-kick in the first half. I guess once the officials know you are already relegated they no longer feel any need to treat you fairly.

Villa have always been one of the worst teams for the 'dark arts'. Players rolling on the ground clutching their faces when nobody has even touched them, really annoys me, and Villa players love doing that.

Sorry to be such a simpleton but why is it a foul when a player connects with the ball during a 50/50 tackle and the other player falls over as if poleaxed and gets the free kick?

I'd like to see both pens again reference similar situations to that. Ok the first one may have been more obvious, but the 2nd seemed questionable

Thomas Bramall. This was the third time we've had this prick this season. Our results have been as follows:
0-2. 0-4 and now 0-3.
So you could say he's not exactly a lucky charm for us. Lets hope we don't see the bloke again.

The first was a stonewall penalty courtesy of master of all things slow Jannh B
His timing of tackles is so poor because he is so slow, he tries to get ahead of it but isn’t quick enough and the opposing player ways beats him too it
THB was losing his sh1t with him and Manning for poor tackles

just watched back the second penalty given against stephens, bad enough the idiot in the middle gave it but for var not to overturn the decision is a new low in ineptitude, just where do they dig these idiots up

Strange opinion. If you look at the replays, there's no way that either were penalties; the forwards clearly purposely fell over Bedbarek's and Stephen's legs. Saints fan?

I think one of the bigger problems is almost zero accountability. This comes right from the top, if you get a pr1ck like the one yesterday and you call him a pr1ck in a post match interview then the FA fine YOU instead of doing anything about the problem. Referees are assessed by ex-Refs - a strange breed at the best of times, and it smacks of the old boys network as they rarely throw ‘one of their own’ under the bus no matter how much they deserve to be. Nothing will change and nothing will improve whilst the current status quo is upheld and maintained. It needs a root and branch overhaul of the current system for anything to improve as there is no real accountability under the current system so refs like the prat we had yesterday can keep putting in sh1t performances and keep getting away with it without sanction.

ive said this many times before, you have a ref in the middle overseen by a referee on var and assessed by another referee, its a closed shop almost like the masons

He was a new level of low - if it's not hard enough already for our team of second raters to compete to have biased refs against us too.

The present set up is clearly open to corruption, whether consciously or sub consciously.

I wholly disapprove of what you say and will defend to the death your right to say it.

The standard of refereeing is generally abysmal, and I will maintain that their errors are responsible for VAR having been introduced.

Which in itself is a sh1tshow of a system, which the refs hide behind.

I genuinely don't think the refs are any better in the Prem than in the Championship.

How sone of them got promoted to the Prem is a joke.

And Anthony Taylor is supposed to be one of our best refs? Laughable.
