I'm far from sure that Alfie is a Championship player, but I'm quite pleased he is back to give us another attacking option.

I much prefer the club doing this than loaning someone in.

Don’t believe he played much at Orient and didnt do great when he did? Bare bones i guess.

I expect a striker to come in, Alfie will likely get another loan move.

Got injured as soon as he joined Orient & has only just got fit enough to play. I suspect he’ll be out on loan again.

I like Alfie for his brilliant attitude.

He's on a different level to Celar in that respect and I'd have him above many in that regard.
However, I am not sure he's the man I'd be relying on at the moment to cover Kolli/Bennie.

Good luck to him and I hope he makes a go of it.

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

Did very little at LO and as much as I admire his effort and positivity I don’t see any way he makes it at this level, must be cover, let’s hope we don’t need him too often!

An attacking option of the bench. Fairly quick and hard working, if I remember correctly. Just needs to take the ball with him.

Watched Alfie vs Cardiff last week. He had chances but did not score. He did however create problems, worked hard hassled their back line.

The O's have two strikers who are far superior to Lloyd I'm afraid: Connolly, currently injured, and Ballard. Scoring goals isn't a problem for them, the issues are defensively.

I suspect that he will be sent out on loan elsewhere, as he's not championship level. However Dom Ballard, signed from Southampton, is definitely a serious prospect.

If he plays tomorrow, the only place he can go on loan to is Orient again. Or non-league. I don't think Orient will rush to have him back. So decisions for us

Lloyd is definitely not good enough for this level. Hopefully we have a buyer for him. I wonder where Sutton is going? I’m a bit concerned with our options in attacking areas with all these injuries.

I hope Sutton isn't going anywhere until the last moment of the transfer window. It's quite likely we'll need him off the bench in the next 3 or 4 games.

35 apps for us and the Os. 2 goals. 23 next birthday.

Lovely lad and all that, but I think the case is rested.

Orient got a striker in from Millwall pretty quickly after Lloyd was recalled, so I am guessing this was agreed previously

Yeah, Richie Wellens is no slouch.

Celar not doing much on his loan either.

Does he come back at the end of the season?

Kolli and Bennie have a real opportunity to make their mark over the coming weeks. They need to seize it with both hands….and feet.

Alfie - great attitude - infectious spirit - can be a handful - but in a very ramshackle way.

Ball control at a premium - had his special moment with the ten minute goalline scramble equaliser in minute 90 at Wednesday last season.

For me, Bennie is at the same level currently but could progress. i dont see Alfie improving now. League two could be decent perhaps. As for ourselves, think the aim will be another loan out.

Lloyd's probably back to cover Frey.

Like Ravel Morrison who scored a wonder-goal and did nowt thereafter, Lloyd's problem is that he's been living off 'that' worldy up at Sheff. Wednesday last season and needs to deliver more or, find himself out in Mexico going nowhere.

His other goal was really cracking. Ollie Watkins style. Was it at Millwall?

Sadly, one good finish virtually a year ago, does not a striker make.

Clearly Richie Wellens saw enough at Leyton Orient to reach the conclusion that there are better striker loan options available for the remainder of the season rather than persisting with Lloyd.

I think his pace will help with us press, and other teams will consider him a a threat on the counter which will help us.

Hopefully his time at Orient has helped him - suspect he will be used as an impact sub and to give us some extra energy for the last 20-25 minutes of games so Kolli and Bennie don't have to play the full 90 whilst they get match fitness etc.

Realistically, we need to be getting him out on loan somewhere where he does okay, and then selling him on.

He's not good enough at this level unfortunately.

And if we want to operate this buy low, or develop, then sell model we have to keep doing that
