Indeed...give that narcissist a year's supply of Mounjaro and a £10,000 pound hair weave and he'd still be a bald fat kn*b. I hope THB got in his face at the final whistle.

A bit scary near the end with the added-on time but held our nerve and got our just rewards for what was a a superb team performance against the league leaders. Keep the run going Saints. Who knows where we'll end up. I'm enjoying the ride!

Skank Lampard will get his wish next season when VAR will be present and incorrect at every league game. What he won't have bargained for is that the Vunts at Stockley Park will be looking to stitch his little team up at every given opportunity against any and all of the Cartel and probably a few more teams besides - then he really will have something to whine about in post match interviews. That aside, WHAT a result that was! That save Peretz made from Kitching in the first half would not have looked out of place if he'd been in goal for Bayern playing in the CL. Neither of our goals will win GOTM - who cares? there was a job to be done and they did the job, that's for sure. The more I see of Matsuki the more I like him, if he can chip in with a few more goals like today and against QPR it will help soften the blow if RS is going to be back on the treatment table again. Well done everyone - Skank the Lamp, you've been Tonda'd!! [Post edited 14 Mar 16:49]

Lampard must be absolutely fuming. He'd have so badly wanted to win today. Eckert beat him to the Manager of the Month award then beat his team in Coventry. Any respect I had for Lampard has gone out of the window with his post match cry baby behaviour and whingeing.

Another thing I have just thought of, after the game against Coventry at SMS they said their local press contingent were celebrating the win in our press box as if Coventry had just won the Champions League, totally OTT and disrespectful. I bet they were sitting in the press box today with faces like smacked arses as Frank the Skank got well and truly Tonda'd! Would be interesting to see just how biased the reports are in the Coventry Telegraph and the Coventry Observer this coming week. [Post edited 14 Mar 17:13]

If current form continues, we'll overtake Hull before the end of the season. Blackburn are winning away at Millwall too. They'll go above Pompey, who are now in deep relegation trouble. Being smug after our marvellous win in Warwickshire today, as you do, it's also good to see Blackburn get a truly unexpected away win at high-flying Millwall today. Their win, coupled with WBA's win, means the pikeys are dropping deeper into the faecal matter. They are now just 1 point outside the drop zone. I see Leicester are doing their very best to get themselves relegated too.

Poor comments from Lampard compared to Tonda who recognised Coventry are a good side. Ok we rode our luck a bit but it was a solid away performance. Lampard didn’t like us slowing the game down. Can’t wait to see his approach at Man C or Arsenal next season.

Saints are such a resilient team now thanks to Tonda. Our best win this season.

I reckon pi@@ing about with the rescheduling of the Ipswich game could come back and bite the Skates firmly on their scabby backsides because 2nd placed Boro are dropping a few points and Ipswich in 3rd are now just 2 points behind them so it may well end up with Ipswich rocking up at Cess Pit Fratton in top form and really needing the points to push for automatic promotion. The top 5 have all played 38, bar Ipswich [37] so it would serve the Skates right if their alleged antics over this postponement [described on another thread] come back to bite them with a vengeance.

Spot on DD, Lampard will have been desperate for the win today to rub it in after his unsavoury behaviour at SMS. News that Leo and Ross were missing must have been music to his ears and I wouldn't be surprised if he'd been rehearsing his post match 'reactions' in the mirror! As you rightly say, any respect, long gone. SO glad we didn't try and get him in at SMS!!
