I suspect Shotters wasn’t at Upton Park on the last day of the season many years ago when Maddison scored a header in the 3-3 draw with West Ham, a result which kept us up once again.
Personally, I thought Le Gods display that day was his best ever. He scored a brilliant free kick just before halftime, put Dowie through for a penalty which he then scored and the ball on Maddison’s head for his goal. A world class performance. |  |
